Situated in Fajardo, this lovely condo for $150 per night is a great option for your next trip. Our 18th floor corner east tower apartment is right on the beach in Luquillo. No roads to cross to obtain beach access, simply just walk down the steps directly upon our beach. To the left is La Pared one of the hottest surfing spots on the island, to the right is La Selva one of the longest undisturbed/undeveloped coastlines in all of Puerto Rico. This gated twin building complex sits high upon a granite rock towering over the beach whose waves create a wonderful sound as they dissipate upon the sand. On-site is a gym, pool, game room for the kids, gazebo and much more. The complex offers 24 hour security and garaged parking. The unit has been decorated using only the finest furnishings. Of the 3 bedrooms two have KING Beds and the 3rd has a TWIN OVER FULL BUNK bed with a trundle. The bedrooms accommodate 8 people. 6 adults and 2 children There are AC's in each bedroom along with a ceiling fan and an oscillating fan The AC's are only in the 3 bedrooms.

Perfect beach location. The beach was close, clean, had silky sand, and had plenty of sand dollars. The view from the apartment is amazing. The apartment had the best mattresses I have slept on while on vacation in a long time. Convenient washer and dryer in the kitchen. The security guards and other residents at the apartment were super helpful and friendly! So many close restaurants and bars to choose from. Favorites were Boardriders (salmon bowel, mahi bowel, and caprese were delicious), La Fonda Gourmet (we tried many items-all delicious, and servers were great!), and Latin Gyros. Close to a grocery store and other attractions. The host sent a packet of information that served to be very helpful!

Location is where the property is ok to get a good rating besides the inside of the apartment needs alot of maintanence. One star for the great view and one star for the owners prompt response. The parking garage has terrible smell and terrible entrance/exit so we have to walk three stories to the main lobby since ELEVATOR IS BROKEN !!
Already had a late checkin with keys missing but owner was quite helpful. Keys were missing in lockbox while checkin.Tons of thing inside the apartment needs updates, from broken furniture to missing fan blade, missing balcony window glass and broken window stopper, balcony has a concrete deteriorating building needs renovation water leaks when standing in balcony, kitchen sink constantly running water, both bathroom shower has missing liners so water floods outside the tub, kitchen needs plenty update, bunk bed was wobbly kids had to sleep on floor with the mattress pulled out. The maintenence manager needs to keep the property properly furnished and pre-checked before guest arrival. The master bath sink was clogged completely. The swimming pool has weird hours open from 9am till 6pm which is when were out exploring when we return home there is no more swimming available. So if the building and swimming pool has keys why the security guard locks it and even though we went at noon time he didnt show up with keys. So kids could'nt enjoy swimming at all !!!
Oh and there is a terrible smell soon as you exit the elevator like a dead animal smell. It horrible while you wait for elevator to arrive its unbreathable!!!
However the veiw from the balcony was a million dollar view, which my family and I enjoyed every day.
Lastly update needed on list of things to do while at the property seems like its outdated completely.

So let’s start with the amazing things about this place. The view is amazing !!!!! The condo is clean, well taken care of and very comfortable. The building is literally on the beach. It’s only about 40 minutes from the airport and San Juan. Besides being on the beach and ocean front there is a river mouth that’s on the beach coming from the Rainforest. The ocean is rough to swim if your not experienced but the river is very calm and safe for kids to play in with supervision. The view from the condo is amazing and the beach is amazing! Rusty brown sand that is really soft. Some of the softest beach sand I’ve walked on. There is plenty a restaurants within a short drive and a few local places with in a few blocks of the condo. They have really good security and you are provided keys to enter the building, elevator and condo which is self check in. You have a personal parking spot that’s secure as well. The condo is gated for all traffic. This is also located a short drive to the rain forest which has waterfalls and two historic towers but you must get tickets in advance or wait to see if they have extra tickets the day before when they release them at 8 and 11 am on the National park website. That said grocery store and other essentials and even fast food places 5 minutes away. They even have a Walmart in the next town south of Luquillo. The owner had clear communication and was easy to deal with. Also clothes washer and dryer inside the place is really convenient. So here is the part to help set your expectations. This is not a resort, this is in the city on the beach and has the smells and stray cats and dogs you would see in even parts of New York City. The building has had better days and new management is working on issues that need to be updated like the elevators not working in the parking garage. Again the typical smells of cats and birds in the garage. They have a pool and a hot tub for the whole condo which is nice including showers and bathrooms so you don’t have to go back to your place. The beach side is not smelly and very refreshing. The down side to the beach is it’s a large long flight of stairs which might be a problem for people with physical limitations. That all said I’ve stayed in multiple places in PR and this place is definitely worth the stay. Also you are near a very good surfing beach that was amazing to watch surfers to shred some waves. There is also other public beaches that are really nice as well. Enjoy your stay.

Close to lots of adventures (fishing, rainforest, and beaches). Wonderful communication and thoughtfully supplied by owner. Highly recommend for family trips, especially for an authentic Puerto Rican experience. Would recommend to my own family and friends.

this is a condo. the owner send me a 22 pages of document to read before I arrival. most were repetitious. it did not include the direction how to get there. We arrived after dark. This is an area does not have an adequate cell tower coverage and the the GPS direction was not good. the best part of check in was the security guard. he was magnificent in giving us all the info. the hot shower was intermittent. there were some electrical surges where I was fearful of getting stuck in the elevator. the individual room air conditions did not work well in cooling the rooms. Be aware, I booked this thru Expedia. I got charged by Expedia but later received a bill from Vbro for another property charge. So I ended paying far more than I expected. Since this is the only one available at the time of booking, my option was limited.
On the positive side, the property was clean. The view was magnificent. We also able to use the washer and dryer. There were plenty of room for a party of five.

Overall, we had a wonderful experience. The staff working in the condo were really nice and helpful. The view of the ocean is breathtaking. Many stores are nearby the condo which is great for anyone traveling with family. We had a great time!

The apartment is very well equipped and well laid out and is in a great location overlooking the sea. The owner clearly cares and wants you to have a good experience. There are lots of instructions to follow. There was only 1 of 2 elevators working which was slow. The hallway smelled like old trash and pet waste. When we entered the apartment the smell of air fresheners was overwhelming and made us all feel ill. We were only there one night so the smell persisted.

Our stay here was excellent!! Location is great. View from the balcony is unbelievable. Perfect location to get to many places and beaches. Mark gives great information in an email a few days prior to travel. Check in and out easy. Highly recommend. Can't wait to go back!!

Also, there is no direct beach access, you have to walk around, maybe a 5-10 min walk. High tides, great for surfers!

We had such a great time! Wonderful location(so many delicious food choices nearby) and beautiful view of the ocean. Property owner is very quick with communication and sends out a detailed packet about the condo and surrounding area. Very helpful !!

We missed our arrangements for the previous might and Mark was amazing about accomodating the stay and paperwork. He just wanted us to be safe and would deal with the back part after. Traveling with 3 children was stressful enough and Mark made is so much easier. Getting to the apartment was a breeze and very convenient. The 18th floor was an amazing view and cool with the windows open. Whole apartment was super clean and no signs of bugs not even mosquitos. All the rooms had functioning ACs and the beds were comfortable. Extra linens and towels were available as well as some bars of soap. Wifi worked great for steaming teens. and the kitchen has everything you need. The closets had plenty of room and beach chairs and boogie boards available. We had access to the beach gate on sat and sun between 9 and 6pm. Pool was closed but it didnt stop us from enjoying the stay Loosing 13hrs cramped our lounging time short for this weekend trip. Thank you Mark for sharing your home with us. Location is key and this condo was right on the highway close to everything in Luquillo. Amazing!

Beautiful View and Apartment verty clean
My stay was on the 13th floor. Very beautiful view and inside was very clean and easy to keep clean. The only bad part about it was the two reason we were there. Pool and front walk to beach, both we did not have access too. Pool was not working and closed and security camra was not working so the gate was chained locked with no access to beach!! If you plan on a pool and beach walk be sure to ask owner if it is working. I was there March 13 thr March 17th 2018.

This unit has its pros and cons.
It's been 3 weeks and I am still waiting on my deposit refund. No response from owner after three e-mails. I had to contact them 5 days before we were to leave for information and instructions. The condo is ok, view of beach and ocean is great. Very safe, need a key to get anywhere on the property, which is one of the cons, there is only one set of keys so your entire group has to stay together. Also there is nothing to notify you that the gate to the beach is chained and padlocked at 6 P.M., even though it is still light. The pool also closes as 6. We were told by the ladies in the office it was unsafe to leave the property after dark. The positive things about this place is it is well stocked with most things along with some boogie boards and snorkel equipment (which were never able to use because never got back from sightseeing to go down on the beach). The air conditioners in the bedrooms are VERY noisy, although the beds were comfortable.

Nice place in Luquillo
We were very happy with the place. The owners sent us a fantastic document with all the info we needed to include local places to eat, tours to take with telephone numbers etc, etc. We went to Walmart and purchased food but most everything else was already provided with the place (toilet paper, paper towels, bug spray, soap, tons of towels, boogy boards, etc, etc. The beach was right out the back door and very clean. We couldn't access the beach late at night because they locked the back gate after dark, I assume for security reasons. The owners were also very responsive when we had questions or problems. Very secure location. Private parking spot in a gated garage (we rented a car for the entire week.)
Our only complaints which the owners had very little control of and probably just a result of vacationing in Puerto Rico: 1. Two days of the seven we stayed there, the entire complex had the electricity shut off from about 9 am through 6 pm (they posted a sign in advance). Still an inconvenience because some of our frozen stuff in the freezer unthawed. We left early and didn't come back until late. One day they shut both elevators down for maintenance? We had to walk 18 flights of stairs to get to our place. Obviously my wife was less than happy. And finally, it's Puerto Rico with 150% humidity. The place has portable ACs in each of the three bedrooms so the bedrooms were comfortable but the main living areas had no AC. We got airflow by opening the doors and windows but still very warm.
Overall, for the money, it worked out well for us.

Great view!
This was our first time in Puerto Rico so we did a lot of research before going. Luquillo is a great area to do alot of things. Close to the airport (40 min), rainforest (10 min), old San Juan (45 min), lots of beaches, food options, etc. This condo had a great view. Waves were great for boogie boarding, easy walk to ice cream (cuties) and restaurants (Boardriders was our favorite!). A bit hard to get to but just follow owners directions and u will do fine. The area around the condo might catch you off guard but the locals were friendly and we had no issues at all. Parking is a bit of a hassle but after a day or so you just get used to it. Condo itself was great. Air conditioning in the bedrooms. Nice breeze in main area. Had a lot of basic things (toilet paper, soap, paper towel, laundry detergent, sandwhich bags, etc) which was a huge plus. Would recommend anyone to stay here if visiting Puerto Rico.
