First of all I would like to say ..our holiday did not get off to a great start because of booking. Coms inability to take us to the correct location. They took us a location that was 1and a half hours away from the apartment in denia and said that i had chosen that location. How could I choose an address when I've never been to that part of Spain before? They did the booking!!
After arriving at the property at 2 am instead of the arrival time of 11pm.
The host Tio , had to stay awake until then to remotely let us in to the apartment, which we were very grateful for. The instructions he had given were very good and easy to follow. He was great throughout our holiday and contactable when ever we had a problem or question. The property was very clean and well equipped and there was everything we needed.
The distance to shops, the beach, the castle and marina said it was around a 7 minute walk..this is true and was fine for me. However i had two disabled persons with me who had walking difficulties and for them it was more like 15 minutes walk and then they would have to have a taxi to return to the property.
Please take this into consideration .
The pool wal lovely and I only saw one other person use it the whole time I was there.
It was mostly quiet apart from some local residents in the complex that were having disagreements and raising their voices. There were leaves in the pool and lots of dead floating insects which suggested that it wasn't cleaned as regularly as it should have been.
However this is no fault of Tio the host and if I was him would be disappointed with the service he is paying for.
There are no sun loungers around the pool and you would have to take your own, which the apartment does not have.

Although automatic self check-in can be useful at places, it also can be complicated, especially when there are 3 different keys involved and the host has to open the door remotely which he will only do (of course) when you can honestly guarantee your are on the exact right door on the exact right floor in the exact right building. The door will not automatically close, so a bit of stress was obvious.
The appartement was ok, the balcony only had sun in the morning, no spectacular views and the distance to the beach was a 30 minute walk.
There is a parking garage under the building, but the entrance is strangely obstructed by a pillar, and we do not recommend this for bigger sized cars. Even with sensors all around at a speed of a snail, I found it risky and I am not sure I came out without a scratch.
