The Schroon river is a stone's through from the wide driveway, across Rt. 418. ACTIVITIES There are endless recreation opportunities right outside the back door and established trails to explore within a short drive. Enjoy the charming camp fire right off the back porch. Canoe or fish on Saini Pond, or the Schroon or Hudson Rivers, which are all a short walk from the house. In the winter, there are miles of trails for cross country skiing and snowshoeing , or take a 3 minute drive to our neighboring ski hill, Hickory. Outside the back door is a perfect sledding hill, parents can join in or sit inside the warm sun room and watch their kids sledding, building snowmen, igloos, and snow angels, and making amazing childhood winter memories.
