Amazing Hotel with the greatest view you can imagine

The breakfast is outside of the hotel and there are two cafés' around where we received vouchers every day. The Hotel is a small boutique hotel with 6 rooms of different size. We have booked the upper room with the terrace and the amazing view on the ocean and the mountains. Tracey is an amazing host who reads your wishes from your eyes. Great recommendations of the vineyards around and other explorations. This Hotel is in walking distance to the Camps Bay Beach road and just a few minutes by Uber to the City Centre. Definetely coming back here. Thanks to Tracey and her team.

Pool could be little warmer :-) Otherwise simply nothing to complain!

Preis für Unterkunft eher im oberen Level für was man erhält.

Hatten das Pool-Zimmer rechts unten. Mit Küche, Sitzgarnitur und Schlafbett. Aus unserer Sicht das Beste im Haus. Keine vis à vis Zimmer, und keines nach oben. Deshalb hörte man sehr wenig von den anderen Gästen. Garten mit Sitzgelegenheiten durften mitbenutzt werden. Vermieterin Tracey ist sehr hilfsbereit. Nachdem wir nicht jeden Morgen auswärts frühstücken wollten, hat sie für uns Frühstückt Zutaten eingekauft und konnten es selber zubereiten.

Auf booking.com steht inkl. Frühstück. Achtung: man erhält täglich einen Voucher für Frühstück in einem Café. Erst nach Buchungsabschluss informiert der Vermieter darüber.!! Küche eigentlich überflüssig: wo soll man essen? Im Zimmer kein Esstisch. Badezimmer kein elektrischer Anschluss. Mussten ein Verlängerungskabel verlangen.

Schöne Sicht auf das Meer

Gute Lage und schöne Sicht auf das Meer, super Terrasse.

Zimmer in die Jahre gekommen, einige Sachen defekt, kaum Instruktionen beim Check in. Gutschein zum Frühstücken in Pottery ist super, die R110 sind aber natürlich nicht ausreichend.

Kein Ort der Ruhe aber dafür in Camps Bay

Lage in Camps Bay ist gut, Tracey ist sehr nett

Leider ist es sehr laut im Haus gewesen, der Hund der Besitzerin hat die ganze Nacht gebellt und es war sehr hellhörig im ganzen Haus (man hörte die Gespräche der anderen aus den anderen Zimmern und im Flur sowie aus der Küche). Alle 3 Nächte haben wir leider sehr schlecht geschlafen. Der Frühstücksgutschein hat leider nie für ein Kaffee und eine Bowl ausgereicht wir mussten immer drauf zahlen.

Great place, we had a great time. Unfortunately not so nice for the light sleeper.

Lots of transmitted sounds. Noisy at night when the other visitors arrived.

Unter falscher Flagge

Das Gästehaus liegt schön und verfügt vermutlich auch über schöne Zimmer. Unseres stimmte leider nicht mit der Buchungsbestätigung überein. Es war winzig (kleiner als angegeben); statt eines Poolblicks gab es durch die Glastür (einzige Zimmeröffnung nach außen) die traurige Aussicht auf eine Plastik-Regentonne und eine Mauer. Das war unser "Far Horizon". So etwas ist indiskutabel, zumal für den stolzen Preis, der aufgerufen wurde. Das angebotene Frühstück entpuppte sich als ein Gutschein, den man in zwei entfernt liegenden Cafés einlösen konnte. Das entsprach nicht der Beschreibung und wurde einem mit dem Hinweis schöngeredet, so brauche man sich nicht an Frühstückszeiten zu halten. Auf Beschwerden reagierte der Manager zwar empathisch, aber folgenlos. Zusammenfassend: das Angebot war brzogen auf unser Zimmer unseriös!

Beautiful location and room. Fantastic balcony and pool. Lovely staff and the most comfortable beds!

I loved our private balcony it was stunning, it was big and was so comfortable out there. The walk in shower was brilliant too. The bed was so comfortable and the property had a gorgeous view of the mountains and the sea! And they cater to load shedding by having generators so we weren't disturbed.

I do wish breakfast was on site, even a continental breakfast and then coupons to head out to the spots they have a partnership with.

Relaxing

The breakfast vouchers were amazing and a nice touch point. Loved the pool, and although I did not have time to take it all in it was a nice quick experience. Loved that the ocean was a nice walkable distance from the guest house.

Sehr zu empfehlen!

Tolles Appartement, die große Terrasse mit den wunderschönen Ausblick ist das Highlight. Für das inkludierte Frühstück gibt es einen Gutschein für ein Restaurant in der Nähe. Alles sehr sauber und freundliches Personal.

Schönes Zimmer in Camps Bay

Sehr freundliche Begrüßung und schönes kleines Zimmer. Uns fehlte es an nichts. 😊

Natürlich ist es nicht die erste Lage in Camps Bay mit Meerblick, aber mit dem Uber ist man in wenigen Minuten am Strand.

Nice stay to explore Cape Town in a more safe part of Cape Town

Nice AirBnb with large balcony and amazing view (we had the sea view room). We could use the separate entry, so we didn’t had to bother the owners that much. Nice walk to the beach, but nothing is flat, and going back is up hill.

Vouchers for breakfast, didn’t go that well. Sometimes it could take an hour to get (a simple) breakfast. The Bootlegger place is further away but has much better breakfast menu

Would definitely go back and book a longer stay next time. Host was very accommodating.

The room was really clean and beautifully decorated. We sat out on the balcony in the morning with our tea and the view was just amazing. Everything you need for the stay is provided and the vouchers for breakfast are a great idea.

Air Conditioning in the room or at least a electric blanket for winter season will be an added advantage

Great stay

location good. bedrooms clean and spacious. was upgraded to a better room than what I booked for which was lovely.

The dogs. Not everyone likes dogs. we wanted to swim but when we saw the dogs go in the pool and drink from the pool we were not really comfortable with that.

We had the upstairs Appartement that afforded sea view… very nice. The breakfast Options were very good; enjoyed that a lot.

We did not use the pool at all.

Superb

The view was stunning from the ocean view room..The garden was lovely.

The staff were very friendly and Tracy the owner was very good.. sorted out my hard car which is very much appreciated would stay again.

Very clean

Room beside kitchen, piano playing and voices. Not what description said. Pool not cleaned until 5pm, nor dog soiled grass.

It would have been better to have had breakfast at the hotel as it is a 10-15 minute walk to the coffee shop but it was OK.

Not having breakfast onsite and the power going off in the afternoon (not the host's fault, we know they have a problem with power supplies in SA

Quiet & well placed with the wonderful beach just a 15 minute stroll down hill. Two excellent restaurants the Hussar & Codfather also easily accessible.Breakfast is available at two lovely cafes again about a 15 minute walk.

The walk from all the above is punishing in the heat, woukd recommend using uber as plentiful & very reasonable.

Great host, lovely setting

Beautiful property, lovely and clean. The highlight are the staff. Tracey is lovely and has lots of tips and information on where to visit and how to get around! Thank you very much for a lovely stay. I would definitely come back!

home from home , FABULOUS.

this property is ABSOLUTELY stunning. we specifically booked the “sea view” room for the balcony view…… it was amazing to sit here and watch the sunset on an evening. So if you want the beautiful balcony, booking this room is a definite 🥰 the garden is also stunning, with plenty of seating and different areas to sit. the rooms with the garden view also looked nice. there is two absolutely beautiful doggies at the house, which live on a separate floor upstairs with tracey, but if you like dogs, they are happy to come say hello. they are just absolute sweethearts 💕 Tracey also provided us with ENDLESS contacts and advice on “must dos” in Cape Town. things we would of NEVER of seen or done if we had booked somewhere else. will DEFINITELY be back here. it’s got such a fabulous warm homely feeling to this place. it’s a short walk to the beach in the day…. and a VERY cheap Uber right back on an evening. super easy!

Unfortunately we arrived a bit late and did not meet any of the staff but Tracey accomodated us to the best of her ability.

Some of the equipment was broken and we were not able to make use of it. The parking was a big issue for me, unfortunately there is not enough parking available.
