The staircase
The big room and comfy double bed.
Using you tube from my phone to tv,plus it was easy instructions.
The porridge was the best.
The cooked scottish breakfast very tasty.

Excellent room with excellent room service. Comfortable lounge. Grand hotel building with superb architecture and furnishings. Closeness to railway station was udeal (assume it was originally the Railway Hotel).
Hotel bar could have stayed open past 22.00Hr. Returned from theatre one night and it was closed after being told it would be open untill at least 23.00Hr with drinks also available for guests, if they wanted them, throughout the night.

Breakfast room was amazingly old and food was fine. Lovely breakfast staff.
Bathroom was falling apart, curtains need washing. I understand it is old, but it is as uncomfortable looking at.
