Located in Auckland Region, this charming house for $96 per night is a great choice for your next trip. This clean and comfy family bach is just a short stroll across the reserve to the beautiful white sands and surf of Ruakaka in Bream Bay. The family can easily come and go between the bach and beach several times a day. You can hear the waves rolling in from the master bedroom... Or enjoy a meal with the family on the deck under the pohutukawa tree in the garden... And cleaning up after dinner is no hardship with the dishwasher and lovely view of the reserve from the kitchen window. Children and teens are welcome - there's a 'Love you to the Moon and Back' bunk room for the young and young at heart! The section is flat with easy vehicle access and has off street parking for 3-4 vehicles. Ruakaka is only 90 minutes drive from Auckland and 20 minutes from Whangarei. The bach is just a few minutes drive from Ruakaka Town Centre - supermarket, cafe, takeaways etc... Nearby attractions include the glow worms at Waipu caves (about 20 minutes drive) and the Waipu golf club is about 10 minutes drive from the bach. The bach is in a tranquil village setting and is a very peaceful place to escape every day life. The insulation and heat pump provide for a warm winter escape while the kayaks, fishing rods, long lines and proximity to the beach make for a fun filled or relaxing summer holiday. Special conditions: The bach comfortably sleeps eight, but can accommodate up to 10 people with fold out sofa bed in lounge. Pets are welcome if you clean up after them in every respect and ensure they keep off the furniture so the bach stays nice for all to enjoy. The property is fully fenced; lowest fence is about 1 metre high. NOTE: Under Kiwi bach tradition you are expected to clean the house and do the dishes before you leave; Bring your own linen (towels/sheets/tea towels);

Clean and organised. Perfectly set up with everything that made this place feel like a home you could stay in forever. Fenced with great mature shade trees I spent hours under. Had a really great feel to the place.

We loved how cosy this bach was but yet spacious and felt down to earth. It was superb for our dogs with the property fenced in but yet so close to the beach. The dogs absolutely loved it! So did we being able to relax and so close to nature. We'll certainly be back!

Really enjoyed reading other peoples reviews in notebooks on the kitchen table. Welcoming and tidy bach with some amenities provided. Having our dogs with us was the cherry on the cake.

Our family had a great stay. Lovely dog-friendly section and place, a short walk from the beach. Lots of board games, heat pump in the lounge that made a winter stay comfortable. The house had everything we needed.

Easy process for an amazing short stay. We were 6 minutes away from Motox track, which was the purpose of visit. To fully enjoy all this bach has to offer, we will be returning in the summer. Thank you so much.

Tucked away down the end of a service lane, it is so close to the beach (2mins) and really does have everything you need for your stay. Very comfortable, good location and perfect size for our group of 6 adults. Would love to come back in Summer & really make the most of this great kiwi bach!

From the time we arrived to the time we left it was a perfect setting for me, my elderly Father and our four (yes 4) doggies. We were lucky enough to be accepted and we enjoyed the memories together. Great fully fenced doggie proof section, large enough for them all to chase each other right around the house many times, an outdoor cold shower system for both human and doggies, easy care/clean section …. I don’t want to say too much as this maybe booked for infinity! A short stroll up over the dune to the flat light sanded beach which is amazing. I just can’t say enough about it because it was for us, perfect. We loved it enough to mow the lawns during our stay … please accept us again in future 🙏 … thank you (Wai & Norm)

We’ve stayed in 40+ holiday homes over the years and although you bring your own supplies, I’ve never seen one as generously stocked as this one. Less than one minute out the back gate to the beach, fully fenced yard and grassy reserve lands adjacent - our dog loved it all too. Would definitely book again.

The property itself was well appointed with all that you need. The beach is just a few mins walk away and there’s a large park straight outside. So lovely to be able to get away and. Be able to take our old dog. Overall the accomodation is great, didn’t like the overpowering smell of a reed diffuser but I just put it in a room we weren’t using.

It was great being a fenced property for my little dog. The place had everything you needed. My only comment would be perhaps an extra clean is needed for the floors, the couches and under them.

We were so impressed. Great communication from owners who are generous with sharing what is in the house, the house was clean and comfortable. So close to the beach, the kids were so happy. We wished we could have stayed longer.
