Buena ubicación, poco descanso

La cercanía con varios puntos turísticos. Queda en el mismo frente del Paseo del Prado, esto hace que todo que de cerca.

Fuimos en temporada de primavera, pero las temperaturas no han subido, hacía frío y lluvia fuera; en las habitaciones no había aire acondicionado (aunque cuando reservas la habitación si lo ofrecen). Tuvimos que dormir 2 noches sin aire acondicionado, con mucho calor y sin poder descansar, sólo porque nos informaron que el clima estaba bueno y que ya no podían cambiar el uso del aire. No podíamos abrir las ventanas para poder refrescar las habitaciones, pues estaba lloviendo y además como queda frente a la avenida el ruido de los vehículos es hasta avanzada horas de la noche y madrugada. Reclamamos nuestros derechos, pero igual no hicieron nada para poder ayudarnos. 🫤

Not good value for the money

Well located next to Atocha station.

Old and tiny room, with no blinds so impossible to sleep as soon as the sun rises. The windows are old and do not get locked properly. On a Busy road, so very noisy. Too pricey.

Perfecta ubicación

La ubicación es excelente, cerca de todos los sitios que queríamos visitar. Todo el personal es muy amable. La habitación era exterior con vistas al Paseo del Prado, apenas se oía el tráfico; las camas eran cómodas. Tanto la habitación como el baño eran correctos y la limpieza impecable.

Para un hotel de 2 estrellas el precio es excesivo, aunque es la "norma" en los hoteles de Madrid. Lo escogimos porque, aunque lo encontrábamos caro, era una de las "mejores" opciones.

Location is convenient to museums, botanical garden, and the train station.

Location was great if you want to visit museums or use the train station. It's far from the palace. It is a 15 to 20 minute walk to the tourist area to eat or shop.

The furniture was very old and cheap looking. I would not recommend staying here.

It was comfortable.

Since it is very close to Atocha station, it is convenient to go to any place in Madrid and any place in Spain. There are lots of cafes that offer breakfast, restaurants that offer lunch, and many precious museums. Moreover, the hotel staff were very friendly and helpful.

The hotel was not prestigious, but it was more than enough for a comfortable stay for both tourists and business travelers.

Maravillosa atención

Super cómodo y céntrico a unos minutos de atocha y plaza mayor, la recepcionista super amable hasta me regalo el mapa y me trazo un tour qué hice la misma noche qué llegue caminando!! Lo recomiendo mucho.

I just needed a night in Madrid before catching my flight the next day, perfect spot.

great location, right across from the Real Jardín Botánico and on the edge of the barrio de las letras. Easy walk from Atocha. Very clean rooms, bathrooms.

Air-conditioning was night very strong, but it was comfortable enough to sleep at night. WiFi a little on the weak side, but serviceable.

Good location but needs a renovation

Good location. Nice staff,apart from a bald receptionist who was very rude.

-It needs a renovation. I've stayed in 3 different rooms and they were all in a pretty bad shape. - There is zero soundproofing, you can hear very loudly everyone passing outside your door and also the guests next door. -No amenities offered apart for a soap bar and the same liquid soap for hair and shower.

Perfectly functional

Room was quite and comfortable and the shower was great

When we arrived we were told that our room would be too small for 2 of us and we were advised to upgrade, I found this really annoying as we had budgeted for the room that we booked. For a city hotel in a hot climate I was disappointed to find no fridge/mini bar or safe in our room

Dreadful gutter smell in the toilet. Stayed at room 306. This is an obvious huge problem with the plumbing. The smell was unbearable. Need sorting before accommodating more guests in that room

Perfectly suitable hotel walking distance from city centre, train station and loads of bars etc.

Good sized room with 2 french doors that open, so plenty of natural light. Good sound insulation from street noise. Very comfortable bed.

There was a coffee machine in the room, but no coffee pods, milk or sugar. Not sure why it was there if we couldn't use it. Bathroom was very small, but adequate. Towels were large, but very thin and had treads tearing away. Biggest issue was noise from hallway with other guests talking loudly and allowing doors to slam shut throughout the night.

Better than Basic Hotel especially for train travelers.

Hotel was about 4 streets away from the main train station of Atocha which was why we picked this hotel. We were surprised with the frindly but professional staff and the cleanliness of the room. Our room faced the Main Street and the botanical gardens. Since the windows were doubled, it was quiet even with the traffic. The hotel restaurant was also surprisingly good, not expensive and also very clean. We would stay here again especially if we have to use the trains to get to other cities on our itinerary.

Our room had pretty shades instead of curtains and one set didn't work. We mentioned it to the reception and they were willing to send someone up right away to try to fix it. We declined because we were tired and it was broken at the down position so no problem with anyone looking in. While not a 'luxury' hotel, it is one that is better than basic with good staff and pretty lobby with piano if you can play and a good restaurant.

The hotel met my expectations. Fantastic location close to the metro station Estación Del Arte 5 min, Centro de Arte Reina Sofía 10 min Museo Nacional Del Prado 10 min. Thyssen-Bornemisza Museum 15 min, walk to Puerta del Sol 20 min. View from the hotel to the Botanical Garden.

No electric kettle, otherwise everything is fine

Everything was perfect except cramped bathroom (I'm tall)

Bilingual and friendly staff, convenient location, fair pricing. Room was above the street but had very good soundproofing. Room was clean.

Small room but outlets too far from bed. Bathroom sink was kind of in the way when sitting on toilet (I am tall though)

Staff were exceptionally helpful and friendly . Location is utterly perfect . Bedlinens were of a very high quality. Very good food at the on site restaurant.

Service in the restaurant was slow and inattentive.
