Near to the shuttle however I have stayed in Coquelles before and prefer it there. It was very basic and just about clean. The breakfast was good for the money, basic but plentiful and nice coffee served from 6.30am week days which was great for our early start. Good secure parking for motorbikes, lockable gate. Staff were friendly and Wifi was good.

We had no loo roll had to ask, the shower didn't work as the holder for the shower head was broken. It was rather noisy, coach full of school kids and loud guests. The beds were rather hard but did manage to get a good nights sleep which is important when riding. Just outside the hotel there was a green where sadly the homeless slept, it was not the best area. It looked a bit like a prison block.

The administration of the hotel do not read or answer the customer's messages. Nobody in the hotel will help you from 12.00 till 17.00 and from 21.00 till 6.30. Everything is closed in the hotel and nobody from the staff is available. If you arrive at that hours you will not be able to get your room. After that they take money from your bank card and will not return in any case. I've been to this hotel once in winter and saw how dirty it is, smell is strong and some windows in the hotel are broken.

The only thing to say was, the bedding was clean.

Broken window lock. Wall lamp was loose. Electricity socket also loose. The skirting board was non existence in the bedroom and the bathroom. Dirty grouting. Paper above the bunk bed was hanging off the wall. Room 20.

The breakfast was good value for money and was a good variety continental breakfast

We had multiple issues with the room. Room smelt of cigarette smoke, there were cigarette burns, open electrics, rotten skirting boards, nicotine on the heater, the shower rail was hanging off the ceiling. My biggest concern was the entrance door to our room as this was so stiff you had to put your full wait on it to open it and to shut it, which is a hazard, I have reduced mobility and use a wheelchair so this was completely unsuitable, luckily was travelling with my hubby who could open and shut the door but he still had to put his full weight against it.

An exit direct onto the street (They exist but are not in use) would save a walk round the block when going into town, but this really is a minor point.

Good location. Easy parking. Close to the Eurotunnel. This is a basic hotel, you get what you paid for. it did the job, but its not glamerous.

its very basic. it was clean of sorts. as i say, we stayed for only 10 hours to sleep as part of our journey. it did the job for us... just !

Convenient location near Calais ferry port to stay after late crossing from Dover. No frill cheap beds for the night to crash in from 11pm to 6.30am. Secure car park with no height restriction for roof box.

Absolutely stunk of stale cigarette smoke in lobby, hall and the three room we had. Towels in the bathroom smelt of cigarette smoke. Despite the convenience of being near the ferry port and cheap price I would think twice about booking here again if there were other options, even outside of Calais for a bit more money. to their credit though when I was booked here in December and was a no show as I got an earlier ferry they refunded me in full without me even asking as I expected to forfeit the booking cost.

The rooms are really small and dirty, even for a transit hotel. For late check-ins they have installed a key vending machine which charges your credit card and is supposed to give you the keys, however the system is glitchy and for what I found out it rarely works for anyone.

Two main entrances were shut. You had to enter at the bottom by the car park. It’s really unfortunate that there is a tent city set up at the entrance to the hotel . But with two children I didn’t think it was safe to go out after dark as I didn’t want to have to walk down this road as it felt in safe. So we had to stay I. Our room . Also the shower holder was broken so we couldn’t use the shower.

Arrived late. Loads of mini white vans/people carriers just outside parking where tents are. Parking open, no closed gates, no security. Supposed to check in via screen outside which didn't work. Night staff eventually agreed to step outside and conclude for himself system was down. Then he couldn't find my booking. Extremely grumpy and unhelpful. Eventually got into room. No shower mat for floor, shower head had to be held as not flexible and horizontal. Smelly towels. Bed extremely uncomfortable. No ac so open windows. Eaten alive by mosquitoes. No sleep at all. Breakfats: hardly anything. €85 including breakfast for 2. Youth hostel would have been cheaper and better!
