Unpleasant experience

Location ok

We stayed 5 days in this apartment (3 people) and unfortunately, the experience was disappointing. The apartment had a bad smell from the moment we arrived. The sink in the bathroom of the double bedroom was extremely small — you couldn’t fit your hands between the faucet and the basin. There were cobwebs on the windows, the cleanliness was poor, the oven was dirty, the washing machine couldn’t be used and the bathroom mirror was dirty. The furniture was old and dirty. The apartment was over-decorated — too many objects on the walls, too many small tables and lamps, making it cluttered and uncomfortable. The wardrobe in the double bedroom couldn’t be used. The biggest issue was communication. The host, Lorenzo, didn’t speak any English and refused to use Google Translate. Before arrival, all emails were sent only in Spanish, including the online check-in. The check-in application was entirely in Spanish — we tried to translate it using Google Chrome, but only the first page was translated; the rest of the flow didn’t work, so we couldn’t complete the process. Even after clearly explaining that we don’t speak Spanish, Lorenzo kept sending messages only in Spanish and made no effort to help. We felt like this property is meant only for Spanish speakers. Moreover, we had booked an apartment with 2 bathrooms, but when we arrived, we were told it didn’t exist and had to pay an extra €50 for another one.

Zona tranquila.
