The breakfast was delicious and our two bedroom apartment was roomy and lovely. The best part was the location and the grounds. This was truly a place to relax and enjoy the garden rooms and the pool.

Beautiful setting, easy access to Avignon, delightful hosts.

The only disappointment in our stay was the quality of the wifi connection. Since we have work meetings, this was a bit of a problem. The host was very helpful but the advertised 'fluid' connection wasn't as expected.

Everything was perfect! Valerie had taken great pains to make this hotel one that meets the needs of the traveler in every way with lots of attention to detail including an art room where you can paint. The breakfast was wonderful and included everything needed such as decaf coffee, the grounds were beautiful. The pool was clean and warm enough to swim in. The parking was accessible. The bathroom was large enough. The decor was lovely

We were not crazy about the "shareable dinner" although the food was good. The property was on an island that took some time to get on and off.

Beautiful and peaceful ex-monastery with orchards, large pool and delicious breakfasts. The hosts had thought of everything to make our stay relaxing and perfect from the outdoor kitchen, multiple relaxed seating areas, yoga mats, magazines etc. Wonderful, I hope to return.

We loved how the family welcomed us in the Mas; you can really tell they take care of every single detail. The room was very nice and with a lovely view. The swimming pool was great and so was the garden. At breakfast there were plenty of options, with home made or locally sourced products. We also tried the restaurant which is very good and in a wonderful location.

Quiet and peaceful, freedom, a good starting point for exploring the western part of Provence. You want to come back to such places. The on-site restaurant is located in the pear garden. Very nice and helpful owner. I recommend it to everyone.

We enjoyed every second at Mas de Capelou. A place where you forget all your problems and you enjoy the silence, the music of the crickets, the flowers, the orchard, the pool.... And the lovely Valerie is the best host you can ever imagine.

secluded and quiet but 15 mins from downtown Avignon

for us it was great- but for people who want no younger kids around that may be a consideration- it is a very attractive place for families with kids due to its apartment style accommodations

Incredibly lovely property in an idyllic location! We had to travel very early each morning and our breakfast was delivered the night before to our room. Very private and beautiful!

How can we define something so fine? We had an apartment with a beautiful view, huge living, fully equipped kitchen, comfortable beds, spotless clean. This is what was just for us. Shared facilities included : Valerie, our host, an very nice and elegant lady, very friendly, attentive to details, then a beautiful pool with no time limit, huge garden with many intimate places to sit and many .more. Breakfast has only high quality items, maybe not a huge selection but very good ones.

We really hated and we were very disappointed that we have stayed for two days only. We won't make the same mistake again!
