Located on beautiful Candlagan Creek, only 200 metres from Broulee Lagoon or the surf at North Broulee Beach. Relax on the spacious deck in beautiful bush surrounds - this private setting looks over Candlagan Creek. The kids will love exploring the mangroves and tranquil creek. There is great surf at North and South Broulee beach and the lovely cafe in Mossy Point makes an easy strolling destination along the headland. The house is ideal for families, with upstairs and downstairs offering plenty of space to relax and unwind. The downstairs area has a TV, bathroom and 2 bedrooms, plus sitting area for kids. Upstairs has 2 bedrooms, one with ensuite. Plus kitchen, living & dining room (with TV). This house has been lovingly enjoyed by one family for more than 45 years. Updated and freshly painted it has all the modern conveniences in a beautiful private, tranquil setting just moments from the beach. Relax on the spacious deck or retreat to the separate living area downstairs. (or send the kids down there!) This is a perfect family holiday house and large enough to fit 2 families without treading on each others toes. Enjoy the surf beaches or the calm waters of the lagoon - just a few minutes walk away. Pull the kayaks into the creek and explore the tranquil mangroves and birdlife on Candlagan Creek or simply relax on the deck and enjoy the private bush setting.

Incredibly well appointed home close to the beach with plenty of character and everything you need to have a fabulous holiday, including a great backyard and magnificent deck with BBQ. Sarah was great to communicate with and we will surely endeavour to stay again!

We had a lovely stay in Broulee. This house had everything we needed, and was easy walking access to the beach and local shops/cafes.

The home was lovely - ample space for everyone with two living areas, fantastic deck, well equipped and spacious kitchen, and plenty of beds so teenagers could spread. The back deck had a beautiful view of the creek and mangroves, but far enough away not to be bothered by insects. My fishing son had lots of room to set up and look after his gear outside. I didn't want to leave! Host was lovely and very accommodating. Will definitely be going back.

The layout of this house was great for the older teenagers. They were downstairs and it stayed lovely and cool on the hot days. The beds were comfortable. Don’t forget to pack your own sheets and towels as I nearly did!

A lovely, well appointed, family home with plenty to do. Very close to the beach with a creek to paddle around on is at the bottom of the garden. We really enjoyed our second stay at Sarah's property.

This house is really well set up for two families if needed. Location can’t get any better, and the host was responsive and flexible, allowing early checkin, no worries.

We had 2 families and the design was perfect, with kids downstairs and adults upstairs. This house has everything you’d need. We loved how big it was, walked to the beach, the kayaks in the creek out the back, board games, great bbq. Definitely would visit again.

Great house with plenty of room for my husband and I and our 3 adult children and dog.Right on the river with access to 2 kayaks and walking distance to Mossy Cafe. Great deck out the back with plenty of privacy.

Such a beautiful spacious house and gorgeous backyard ! Even though it was winter it was incredible to stay here, loved it all!

Great house with reasonable privacy, clean and set up pretty well.
Loved the wood slow combustion for winter heating.
Would be a good idea for winter holiday let’s to provide some warm blankets as the doonas were very light weight so it was pretty cold.
A few more kitchen pots and pans would be helpful as well.
Otherwise the family and our dog enjoyed our stay at beautiful Broulee.

We enjoyed our stay. The house had everything that we needed in it and Sarah was great to deal with. The house is also very well located and the beds are comfortable.
Be warned that there are a ton of mosquitoes though, may have been due to recent rain though, but they were a real pain so bring lots of spray etc.

Karibu, spacious enough for two families, ideal for three generations, I cannot praise this property highly enough. Comfortable and well equipped, the generous and friendly owners have thought of everything including kayaks which the kids loved on nearby Candlagan Creek. Lots of games, books, comfortable beds, outdoor living and great facilities. We didn’t want to leave! Thank you Sarah!
