The apartment was spacious and clean. It was fitted out with everything you need to be comfortable, and was quite homely. The bed was comfortable. The bathroom, while small, had a nice shower and functioned well.

The apartment was very dark. It had tiny windows that overlooked a covered courtyard, so we never saw the sky. We also never saw the host. He ensured that we could enter the apartment easily with a key in a lockbox, which was fine. But he never came by and we had to pay by leaving the cash on the table when we left.

Very convenient location in the old town of Constance. Two bottles of mineral water for free.

Very little daylight in the apartment, with all windows facing a backyard. Some window blinds were broken (always in down position) which make things even worse.

It is a stylish apartment, spacious and comfortable. The only disadvantages are expensive parking in the opposite garage and basic kitchen equipments. A washing machine would have been a bonus.

Location here is good, unfortunately there were a few things that made us less comfortable. Firstly, the pull out couch described as a double bed can really only sleep one at most, the second half is the base of the couch with the metal support, not suitable for four people at all. Secondly, the linen for this was not supplied, we had to make contact with the host to arrange this (this was done promptly). As other listings have stated, this is a very dark apartment, you need all the lights on in the middle of the day. Some of the lighting do not work properly, they would flick on and off at random, and we had to move the couch so that lounge light wasn't hitting the person sitting at that end. Last concern, and I feel bad for the hosts in this instance, it appears someone has smoked in this apartment previously and the smell is strong. We had all of the windows open as much as possible and this helped, but it was evident each day we returned home. Positives, the main bed is comfortable enough, clean and fresh bathroom, and a kitchenette that had enough equipment to make simple meals. A parking garage is located just 50m from the apartment front door. Overall, I would only recommend this apartment to a couple or single who plan to make a short stay.

You can hear the children running back and forth in the apartment above. This sometimes causes annoying noise in the apartment. The apartment is located in a half-timbered house and faces the backyard, from there not much light gets into the apartment.
