Located in Tathra, this attractive house for $204 per night is a fantastic option for your next trip. Well appointed open plan two bedroom house with a large elevated hardwood timber deck with BBQ to enjoy the outdoor living. The living areas, including the main bedroom, offer access to the deck and fabulous views of the Pacific Ocean & Kianinny Bay. SLEEPING - the property sleeps 6 comfortably (1 x queen in main bedroom, 1x double and 2 x single bunk beds in2nd bedroom). Well suited to two couples wanting a group stay or a couple with 2/3 kids. Please note - linen and towels NOT provided. PET FRIENDLY - the property is fully fenced with large kennel and is one of only a couple of properties in Tathra that welcome pets by negotiation. Please advise at the time of enquiry/booking if you are bringing a pet. KIDS - well set up for kids and even toddlers with portacot, high chair and stroller provided. There is also a safety gate for the stairs in case your kids are not yet stair competent. There is also plenty to occupy their time with a great playground in Tathra and very safe swimming at the southern end of the beach or Bega river entrance. ATTRACTIONS - 150m to professional boating/fishing facilities, whale watching between May & Nov, excellent golf courses, bush walking, historic wharf, pristine beach & river. Make the most of Tathra's outdoors - exploring on land or by sea. Situated right on the door step of beautiful Kianinny Bay (250 metres) the property provides convenient access to: Professional fishing and boating facilities; Great walking tracks through Bournda National Park; Superb south coast golf courses; Whale Watching (May-Nov). There is superb snorkelling/diving or swimming 250 meters from the house in the protected Kianinny Bay. Kianinny Bay provides free picnic/BBQ facilities and also a boat ramp to access outside fishing. Tathra's main beach, historical wharf, shops, bowling club and restaurants are all only a ten minute stroll away. If you haven't taken in the beauty and activities that are available in Tathra - you really need too!! Tathra Beach Retreat is the ideal base to do this from.

We loved our stay at Tathra Beach Retreat. Clean, comfortable and easy to access. Although not very big, we felt at home from the minute we got there. The property was very pet friendly and the location and view were fantastic. Thank you, we would highly recommend the property to anyone.

The perfect beach house from which to enjoy Tathra. Loved the location over looking Kianinny Bay. Well set up for a family. Had everything we needed and was very accurate to the advert. Emma was a great host, very easy to communicate with. We will definitely be coming back.

Tathra Beach Retreat is just that, a great retreat on the quiet side of the Tathra township yet minutes from the beach. Our family of five, including 3 children under 6 enjoyed a comfortable stay with everything we needed to cook, bathe, and accommodate our lengthy stay. Looking forward to our next stay.

We thoroughly enjoyed our stay here. The house is larger than it appears in the photos, this made for a very comfortable stay.
The view from the deck is gorgeous, you could spend hours there watching the ever changing ocean or just listening to the sound of the waves crashing in the bay.
Our cavalier loved running around in the fully fenced yard.
Communication with Emma was always easy. I would highly recommend this property.

This quiet perfect positioned house was just what we love. Our first stay in house accommodation & was blown away with the open brightness inside with great views & location. Didn’t want to leave. Hope to come back. Will definitely recommend

Comfortable, clean and convenient.
Loved the view!! The property had everything we needed to cater for all our family’s needs, including our dog.
A well equipped kitchen, bbq, outdoor furniture, high chair, extra seating and handy little tables. The large back yard with a kennel and plenty of room for our dog to run around was a plus.
Adequate cleaning products and equipment.
Thoroughly enjoyed our stay and already working out when we can stay there again.

We had a lovely time at this property. It is in a lovely, quiet corner of Tathra. I enjoyed my stroll down the hill
to Kyannini bay. All the facilities were adequate for our needs. I had had excellent communication with the owners regarding this booking. There had been a date change due to plumbing issues when we were first scheduled to stay. We were given the opportunity to receive a full refund or change the date, which we chose to do. As a result there has been a new shower installed. It is an upside down house, with the main living area upstairs with lovely views. This was a little challenging for my 82yr old Mum who had to sleep downstairs near the bathroom, but she coped. It had a great yard for the dog. We also enjoyed using the brand new shower!

Comfortable and dog friendly
Good location close to some wonderful,walking trails. House has been modernised and there is a large deck overlooking the bush, with sea glimpses too. Stove in the kitchen is rather ancient, but it does work. Lots of pots, pans and crockery. You will need to take your own oil, pepper and salt, sugar etc as none of these were supplied. A little tricky to access the house as the key safe lock is old, and there was a confusing array of keys. Dogs appreciated the
large yard to romp in, and the passing parade of kangaroos and kookaburras.

Lovely view from the deck. Large garden which was fenced for our dog. This was the main requirement we looked for in a holiday rental property. It gave us peace of mind. Near to some gorgeous dog friendly beaches as well.

Clean but in need of repairs and a bit of renovating. Fencing in backyard not suitable for small dog
Although tbe property was clean it is starting to look run down. Torn flywires on windows and overgrown garden was our first impression when we pulled up. No mention that the home is split livel. Bottom is bathroom and bedroom. Then 15 steps up to launge, kitchen and second bedroom. We are fine with steps but some people aren't. Off the lounge opened up to a big beautiful deck with beautiful views of the ocean. Very relaxing on a sunny afternoon. We enjoyed our stay just a bit disappointed on the condition of the house.

Easy location & great views
Basic, but very clean, comfy beds & amazing views from large balcony. Plenty of room and well set up for a family. Watched the wales from balcony over BBQ brekkies. Plenty of fenced backyard for dogs to run around, with sun & shade. Dog bowls were provided too. Easy location to boat ramp & reasonably close to wharf & beach & shops - walk or drive depending on your energy levels. We all enjoyed our stay at this little home away from home. Loads of kitchen goods, but could do with some basic pantry goods like pepper & salt and glad wrap, paper towel which we have always found at other stays. (I left some paper towel). Also little disappointed to find 'after booking' & payment, that we needed to provide own linen, sheets & towels. There was plenty of tea towels tho.

Affordable and great location
Great value for its price point. We were two couples but ideal for family (especially with having a bath). The view from the deck was breathtaking. So great having the option of taking our dogs, large secure yard suitable for small and large dogs alike. Great location, walking distance to Kianny, supermarket, Fat Tony’s (amazing restaurant) and the pub. A great place for a weekend away.
