Great motel with friendly staff

Check in was very friendly. I was able to get some directions for local sites. The room was clean and tidy, parking onsite was easy. Friendly staff, everything I needed for a night's stay. Good value for money.

Great nights stop on our trip.

This was a very friendly place and just what I needed to rest overnight. The location was within walking distance to eating or coffee places so was very convenient.

Great value overnight stop

The Mariner Motel is a great old fashioned motel. It was a very convenient half stop between Sydney and the Gold Coast. It is in a quiet location a short distance from the highway. The rooms are clean and spacious. Lovely to have a couple of biscuits with our cup of tea. A cafe is almost next door for an easy breakfast. There are several good options for dinner including a fantastic Italian restaurant.

Nice little place besides the disrespectful noise

Room was comfortable and clean.

Other people in accomodation yelling and swearing late at night when we had kids trying to sleep and after our all day drive. We had to yell out to shut them up. So much for the noise policy. Noticed the people making all the noise being friendly with the motel owners. Very disappointing as motel was nice.

Well, It was clean.

It is not even close to the price we’ve paid. Just a very poor room with awful bright lighting and cement ceiling. If you want to experience some prison living, you definitely need to go for it. The main problem was the mattress, we woke up with such a pain in the back. For 75-90 AUD it is ok, but definitely not for 135 AUD, which we have paid.

Very good for a lovely town at laurieton. Cleanliness is exceptional.

Owner was very friendly.

Wish could have more natural light (ie open curtains or door) without losing the privacy.

A happy stay, with pleasant interactions with all staff.

Location was convenient. We requested an arrival one day early, and this was accommodated, but we had to change rooms from first night to our original room for remaining two nights. It first seemed that change would be avoided, but unfortunately was not. Still appreciated the extra night, just the relocation was not so convenient.

Our original booking was only possible in a room with two single beds, though of course we would have preferred a queen sized bed. Understandable circumstances, due to high occupancy, though the booking was made two months in advance, with written request for room with queen bed if available, and it was not clear that that written request had actually been read and taken into account.

Our room was comfortable and spotlessly clean. Easy access with parking out front of room. Great location, motel is located within walking distance to the centre of town.
