Great location, and great staff (Akin and Mohammed were amazing)!!

Great location - Directly opposite Gulhane tram station which is well connected around Istanbul. Amazing staff - Akin and Mohammed at the front desk took care of me and my friends very well! They made our stay very enjoyable.

Nothing much. The hotel did everything in their capacities to facilitate us and ensure we had a great stay.

Lovely staff especially Ata was helpful and worked beyond his means.

Small scale buffet as per hotel , so it was expected. Clean , local to main attractions of Istanbul. Shops and restaurants near by.

Stains on surfaces. No mini bar it was just a fridge.

J’ai passé de bonnes vacances.

Tout le personnel au top,gentil, souriant, agréable. Petite préférence pour Ata pour sa joie et bonne humeur, et son service. L’hôtel est super bien placé il est proche de tout, Vous n’avez même pas besoin de taxi vous pouvez tout faire en tram,

Trop bruyant Si vous réservez dans cet hôtel , il faut demander que votre chambre soit le côté ou il n’y a pas le tram . Chambre double petite

Hôtel propre et bien situé, personnel chaleureux

Le personnel est gentil et les chambres confortables. Une bouilloire avec thé et café est à la disposition des clients et le ménage est fait tous les jours. Le petit déjeuner est un buffet à volonté. L’hôtel est bien situé à deux pas du Park Gülhane et du musé Topkapi. A moins de 10 min à pied de la basilique sainte Sophie et de la Mosquée Bleue.

Il ne faut pas perdre la carte de la chambre d’hôtel sinon vous êtes facturés 10€

L'hôtel est dans un lieu magnifique, très bien desservi, près de tout les sites touristiques, on peut faire l'ensemble des monuments a pieds, l'arrêt de tram juste devant l'hôtel un bonus..L'accueil du personnel était magnifiquement incroyable, Mr ATA, AKIN, ZIAD, était d'une gentillesse et d'une amabilité extraordinaire, ils étaient très gentil très serviable à l'écoute, ils nous ont aidé dans nos démarches nos déplacements des conseils pour nous faciliter la tâche pendant tout notre séjour, on se sentait vraiment en famille, sans oublier la dame qui préparait le petit-déjeuner accueillante souriante. Les chambres propres, la literie très confortable, le petit déjeuner bien copieux. Je recommande fortement cet hôtel, je reviendrai, Merci a vous, vous êtes une équipe de choc

Worth every penny. My go to hotel in Instanbul from now on

Location was perfect with a tram stop just outside the hotel. Rooms were very clean and had a good fragrance. Staff especially Mr Lutfi was very helpful and nice.

Staff was good and kind

Lacks in basic housekeeping service like room cleansing. The wifi and TV facilities were very poor. The water is not provided until you ask them for it.

Great experience

The hotel is placed in great localization, near most of the best tourist attractions in Istanbul. The breakfast was really good and tasty, and the staff was kind and helpfull.

The room was a littlebit cramped.

The best of place for lovers of the old city. a shady park across the street where it's so nice to sit in the heat. tasty neighborhood eateries and delicious coffee for those who like to sit and think about the fate of this city and its people.

Constantine family room

If u on a budget and want a hotel with a great location this is it. But dont expect more. It is a 3 star hotel and that is what u get. Staff are pretty good. There is a guy LUTFI, I take my hat off to you sir. He made our stay very comfortable and a good chat to chat to because he understands and speaks English. And most places all of the staff cannot speak nor understand English. Rooms were better than expected I must say. Reviews had it totally wrong.

Don't bother with breakfast as there is not a huge selection. Very basic. But does the job. Rooms are a bit small but most hotels in Istanbul are on the smaller end.

Pleasant

It is a nice location because is very near to a lot of attractions. The ladies was changing the staff in the room every day. Everyday they bring us water. Very nice the staff from the reception.

Very noisy room. Exactly under our window was a tram station, and the window do not close well, so all the noise was exactly like the window was open. You cannot stop the car in the front of the hotel to put the bag out, but the receptionist was nice and helped us when we come. When we go out, no. :) We have to pay for the parking ( 12 euro/day ) and was like almost 700-800 meter far away. The room looks bigger in the pictures, but actually and very small. We had problems with the shower. When you want to make a shower, all the floor and toilet was full of water.

Room was nice. Location was perfect. Cleaning personnel very kind. A young receptionist was very very kind and always helpful.

Elevator is small, I got almost stuck in there. Lobby is very small and old. Also the Corridors are small and have old carpet on the floor, need to change. They give you only one roomcard even if you are two people.

Mohammed and emere was a complete delight from the time ive checked in Mohammad made our stay a very warm and enjoyable experience for me and my family. Emere was really a good lad and always wanted to assist in every way possible. Both mohammed and emere where the stars of the hotel.

I think the deco and lay out of the rooms can be improved.

Good but not great

Location is quite good with breakfast availability, which was a deciding factor before going to a walk. Hospitality was on a good level. Bed was very big and comfortable.

Walls are very thin, so you can hear anything from the neighbor rooms. If you will have a room number with windows to the tram, then it will be mega noisy when tram passes. Note, that rooms are 15m2 which is okay but might be frustrating.

Constantine Hotel Review

Great staff, friendly and professional; great location and comfortable rooms. Always hospitable and gave lots of value. Most memorablly their suggestions for locations to visit and eat at and their fair price estimates for taxis and other services. (As haggling is common in Istanbul). Mostly the staff were professional and personable which is the best combination. Very trustworthy place.

The tram is right next to the hotel so depending on your room you'll quite likely hear it at night time. The televisions are also a bit finnicky. Also one shower didnt have a door which I found odd. But apart from these small inconveniences the rest of the stay was perfect.

The right place to be in Sultanahmet area

Everything is great about this hotel. I can't decide on which part to focus on but I highly recommend it for first time visitors of Istanbul. The hotel is literally within the heart of Sultanahmet area. Everything you might need is within a walking distance. The staff is professional and helpful...so no need to worry about anything. The room, we took, was a tiny but clean and convenient. The Constantine experience made me love my stay in Istanbul.
