We had the most wonderful stay at this beautiful boutique hotel in La Rochelle. From the moment we arrived, this boutique hotel exceeded every expectation. The décor is beautifully curated, blending French charm with modern luxury, creating a warm and stylish atmosphere throughout. The hotel combines elegance, comfort, and character in a way that makes you feel instantly at home. Our room was beautifully furnished, spotlessly clean, and full of charming touches that reflected the hotel's unique personality.
The staff were friendly, attentive, and genuinely passionate about making every guest feel welcome. The location was fantastic, allowing us to easily explore the picturesque streets, marina, and vibrant atmosphere of La Rochelle. It was about at 10min walk into the centre.
The breakfast was great, with a selection of fresh produce, also if you did not take the breakfast there was a patisserie directly facing the hotel, which we could highly recommend also.
Along with local bike hire which was reasonably priced, we explored the marina area. We also had our own car so we drove out to Fouras, to the local beach which was excellent.

Location - very convenient
The hotel, in general is very good. We booked late, and only the attic bedroom was available. We were only 2 persons, so, in a way we were paying for beds and space that we didn't need. In truth we felt the room is barely fit for visitors- no proper window, only rooflights at high level, so no view. Steep and narrow stairs proved difficult even for us fit 60-somethings. Limited headroom in most of the space.
