The location is excellent, within easy reach of shops, beach and nightlife.
The apartment was spotlessly clean.
The apartment felt quite dated, with noticeable signs of wear and tear throughout. For example, the fridge was in poor condition — the freezer drawers were broken, and its awkward placement made it difficult for someone else entering the kitchen. The sofa was covered with a worn throw, and the drinking glasses were cloudy, likely from repeated dishwasher use. There were also padlocks on various cupboards and areas, which gave a slightly unwelcoming feel.
One of the biggest drawbacks was the lack of air conditioning. I visited in August, and while there were fans in most rooms, they just circulated warm air rather than cooling anything down. Unfortunately, this made it very difficult to sleep — not just because of the heat, but also due to the constant noise from the fans.

We liked the location and the downstairs living space and terrace. We also liked that there were 2 bathrooms and a cloakroom and that there was a machine machine. We also liked having the use of the communal pool.
There were no plugs in any of the basins or baths. Although there were masses of utensils these were outdated and there were masses of very old frying pans(would have preferred 2 decent ones). There were not enough mugs/cups for 6 people. The door to the drier would not close and had to be pressed shut with a broom handle to work. The TV was outdated(would have liked a smart TV). The toilet brush in the ensuite was just stuck in a hole in the wall (very unhygienic). The most annoying aspect was that the WiFi never worked despite repeated requests to the agency. The single bed was very wobbly and squeaked whenever one turned over.
