We stayed at the beach house for a week and it was perfect for our family with children. Spacious, easy parking, and ideally located. We were close enough to walk to the beach (we went to the one by Rocky Neck. Note there is no parking or loading at the private beach unless you have a pass. There are also no bathrooms or even trash cans at the beach). Backyard shower was a must post-beach. Outdoor seating at the house was so nice, the sun shade was really helpful. The association area we felt was quiet and safe. We did not use the club house amenities but they were available. Inside, the house is older and appears to be getting upgrades, with a newer kitchen and living room set. Everything was clean and comfortable, good water pressure, and the ac window units worked well which was super important for the record heat!! Thank you to Barbara who responded very promptly with my questions. We would stay here again for sure. Thanks!

Host was immediately responsive and very helpful. For our purpose, the location was very convenient. Our grandkids lived the clean, safe & nearby beach (we walked there). A note if you travel there by air & rental car versus a personal vehicle as a large group: linens are not provided.

The house was nice and met all of our needs. The communication with the host, Barbara, was great. The two beaches within walking distance are great, one has a small beach area that wasn't busy when we went, while the other beach is more busy but is a lot of fun at low tide, as there is a nice sand bar. The walk to either beach is about the same, with both being down hill from the house.

This cottage is more like a home and is a great location for kids to enjoy the beach. Easily walkable to multiple beach options! The bedrooms are roomy and have double beds in all 3 rooms. The deck was great and we enjoyed most mornings out there. We would have liked an outdoor shower (the one here is more more rinsing off feet and suits) but overall, a very nice rental.

Right from the beginning, Barbara (owner) was a great communicator. The process was so easy from start to finish. Any questions I had were promptly answered. As soon as we walked into the house we knew it was better than the pictures! We expected an older, antiquated house with small rooms, but were we wrong. The two bedrooms upstairs are HUGE. The living/dining/kitchen "open" concept made the house feel very roomy downstairs. And the kitchen is very big and open as well. The deck was nice and big, and the awning was a sweet added bonus. Great for morning coffee and dinner time with the family. The walk to the beach is short and easy. Excellent views from the house of the sound. Plenty of parking, too! House is 5-10 min from downtown restaurants and such. Extremely quiet community, you can hear a pin drop at night from 4 houses down. We preferred the beach abutting Rocky Neck State Park over Giants Neck Beach, but Giants Neck is less crowded on busy days. All in all, this was a great place to stay. Barbara does a great job of communicating anything/everything, and we would gladly return in the future. Thank you again!

Comfortable house in a great neighborhood, walking distance to Giants Neck beaches and Rocky Neck beach. Room for a family. Could have been cleaned better and the mattresses need an upgrade. Otherwise a nice property and everything is in good working order. We had a little trouble communicating with the owner, but once we did they were very helpful and very nice. Overall a very good experience.

House was very spacious with all the necessary amenities to make our stay an amazing one. There is easy access to the beaches and our family had an excellent experience. Will definitely be coming back.

This is a comfortable home in a quiet beach community with great views of eastern Long Island Sound. There are two beaches located within a very short walk of the house. There is plenty of off street parking. We managed to catch a few fish during our four night stay which we prepared for dinner in a well-equipped kitchen. There are also numerous restaurant options close by, with most serving great seafood! The owner greeted us upon arrival and was very accommodating. We had a wonderful stay!

We had a great time! The nearby beach, a short walk up the street, was perfect for our group - with kids ranging from 2- 16 yrs old. The little guys could safely play in the shallow water and the older kids took their rafts and floated out to the far end of the swimming area. After our days at the beach we enjoyed coming back to the house to hang out on the back deck, play games, and make dinner. The first floor of the home is very open and spacious and the bedrooms were larger than expected (sometimes it's hard to tell in pics). Barbara was great to work with. Would definitely recommend!

we stayed for 3 nights.. it was a very pleasant stay . Mike and his daughter welcome us to their house a couple of hours early than the check in time . The house is very spacious, walking distance from the beach, place is very quiet and people around are so friendly. We enjoyed the huge deck.. we even had candle light BBQ dinner in there..place is very much recommended..:)
