Die Aussicht war wunderbar, die Ausstattung auch zweckmässig und das Ambiente einladend. Die Gastgeberin war sehr zuvorkommend und hilfreich. Wir würden die Unterkunft wieder buchen.
Zwar bot die Wohnung wunderschöne Sonnenuntergänge, aber Mitte Oktober war die Wohnung ( nordwestlich ausgerichtet) abends nicht mehr gemütlich warm

Fantastic location in Centro Montepulciano, lots of character and a true Tuscan old property
You need to accept that you won’t get modern facilities and comforts such as air con, washing machine, dishwasher etc.

Chiara is a great host. Gave us direction to the apartment, offered to help us with our luggage, and took the time to show us the apartment and explain everything. The apartment is a short walk to the main sights and restaurants in Montepulciano. Good availability of dishware, cookware and staples in the kitchen (dishwashing liquid, olive oil, salt, pepper, sugar etc)
The downside from the location in the old town is that you cannot reach it by car at anytime during high season. With a lot of luggage and to explore other towns in Val D’Orcia, it can be quite inconvenient. The apartment is quite humid, especially in the lower floor, and the second bathroom was not well ventilated, leading to some mould. It was colder in Montepulciano than usual and outside of the regulated heating period it was quite cold in the apartment. Would be nice to have some basic toiletries available in both bathrooms such as hand wash and shower gel.
