Our stay at the Aquaterrace hotel was a delightful breath of fresh air. This small-scale hotel provides a more intimate experience with its limited number of rooms, which we greatly appreciated. We spent one night in the lower room, which was spacious and adorned with delicately placed frangipani flowers everywhere, including the bathroom, adding a romantic touch. The sea view is simply stunning, visible from the bedroom, toilet, and bathroom. The toiletry products are of excellent quality, and the private little terrace is a real bonus. It is cozy, equipped with a mobile table that allows for working while enjoying the view, and offers direct pool access and the option to have breakfast delivered without extra charge. The staff is friendly and the food is delicious, with a special mention for the Japanese dishes offered. The only significant downside for us was the internet connection. Since we work remotely, a reliable Wi-Fi connection is essential. Unfortunately, the network was insufficient for our professional needs, which prevented us from extending our stay, although we would have liked to. This aspect is crucial for remote workers and might need some improvement.

The best place to stay in Amed

The location of this accommodation is absolutely perfect. The view is worth a million dollars! So peaceful and relaxing. The staff are friendly and helpful.

The bed was a little firm for my personal preference but that was a very minor thing. The view makes everything worthwhile.

The view from the property and the quietness is value for the money!

The view is absolutely stunning! The infinite pool facing the vast ocean is just beyond words. We had breakfast everyday at the balcony facing the sea, and there is a little pathway directly from the hotel to the beach, where you can go snorkelling right a way.

There are lots of local worms around. We don't mind at all, as they are not harmful and it's great respect to mother nature that they don't get killed by chemical pesticides. The hotel simply integrates the local biodiversity into the property.

swimmingpool way to hot and dirty. if you want to cool of this is not the place. location with a lot of stairs, not suitable for children lot of ants and other insects in the room. lot of good reviews but found it disappointing

Beautiful expansive view all the way to Lombok

The views from the Cliffside resort are incredible. The beach is across the street at their other resort. The room was nicely decorated and had high end aromatherapy chemical free bath products. Food isn’t really safe here though. My dry omelette was loose and runny. At first I thought it was the cheese I added. Cheese was forgotten, the undercooked egg had travelled all over the plate, cross contaminating all! Avoid milk here too as it was served warm, not purposeful expresso warm. Regardless, that was enough to give me salmonella poisoning. That started in the afternoon, ruining the rest of my trip and causing me to miss an expensive prepaid course because I had to go to the hospital. I’m still severely ill. If you watch your food, this is a fine place to visit. Amed just has different food safety and prep approaches than $$$ expat / hotel places like Canggu, Seminyak, Uluwatu and Ubud

We had an amazing stay at aquaterrace in Amed! The view is beautiful, and there is a small beach you can snorkel on just a few meters from the hotel. The staff were perfect, always smiling. You can rent snorkeling gear and scooter there, and there is also free transport from the hotel to nearby beaches. The food was also really good, and you order easy to your room or the pool via WhatsApp. Nice private sunbeds by the pool, and really nice pool as well. Would absolutely recommend!

the room is nice and clean. very good location, got upgrade to ocean view room and definitely will choose the same room again next time. has direct access to the beach near the hotel. although it’s quite far from city center there’re still some restaurants around the area and can rent motorbike too. staff very helpful and nice, really feel welcome during our stay there.

there are many bugs around the area, so better not open the door to the balcony.

Location was isolated.not many other restaurants or facilities nearby. However, they did have motorcycle service to go up to nearby places.

Sit, relax, forget about the world

The property is quiet and good value for money. Has everything you need, a comfortable bed, good shower, nice staff, great pool and view, good air conditioning, excellent wifi, massage near your room. Aquaterrace has a restaurant which serves very nice food and there are other dining options nearby. Plenty of shade at the pool. This place just makes you want to stop and relax.

If you want privacy, it is a really good option

the rooms are really nice, it is quite and you can just relax

the staff is not really nice, i did not feel welcome, when i asked them to bring me to an other hotel they were discussing for 15 min and then offered me a crazy price the coffee is bad, and the price to high

Very good

The view is AMAZING, 50% off spa treatments, helpful staff, refill water station, AC is working nicely for hot afternoons, snorkeling right off the beach, rubber slippers provided-very convenient to use to go to beach and boat, umbrella for rainy days, quiet and serene, daybeds on the balcony.

Some of the pool tiles need fixing. The rubber slippers provided need cleaning. Location is a bit far from the "town center". But these are not big issues.

Stunning views of the Ocean, Comfy Rooms, Lovely staff and Peaceful stay

Stunning views of the Ocean and the coast from the Room Comfortable and Clean room with beautiful Decor Peaceful and calm stay with no disturbance and nothing but the sound of the ocean Beautiful deck to sit and relax, have breakfast Helpful and prompt staff and room service Location of the pool overlooking the ocean Decent breakfast and room service options with good taste

The room service menu had Indonesian and Japanese cuisine options. The Hotel could look to add a few more options for the international travellers. But the food taste was authentic and good. The Hotel is located a little far (about 5 Kms) from the Amed city centre and hence you need a bike or a cab to get to the main city but the beautiful view of the ocean more than makes up for this. The hotel also helps with pick-up and drop facilities to the Amed city centre at a nominal cost. One certain area of improvement is that the Hotel did not provide bottled water to the rooms but instead the customers are required to fill bottles from a filter which is placed in the common area. While the filter water was also potable, it is a slight inconvenience.

Amazing hotel in a great bay

We really loved this place. The rooms were beautiful, the view was amazing, the breakfast was delicious. There is a beautiful infinity Pool right in front of the room and it takes only a few stairs to get to the beach. The bay is great for snorkeling. It is even great vor beginners. My wife went snorkeling for the first time and loved it. The staff was really nice and they offer amazing massages as well. We would definitely come back to this place.

Great place to stay and relax

The room was very clean, had a big size with nice balcony. Shower and toilet were in separate rooms. The bright furniture looked very nice. Bed was comfortable. The pool and the restaurant were both really good and the Japanese fusion food was very tasty. The staff was friendly and helpful and the massages we had were good.

Incredible view and lovely home

Very spacious room and incredible view right on the ocean. the pool is very warm, the mini fridge is full of drinks and snacks (not included), the breakfast is good, the people and incredibly nice and helpful.

The Wifi was bad and you have an important smell in the room everyday..

Fabulous place can’t wait to come back

Breakfast was fantastic, pool was fantastic and view was so beautiful, full minibar, massages were fantastic everything was excellent

I was surprised there was no tv in the rooms not that it is really needed but it’s nice to watch a movie sometimes

incredibly relaxing stay located on a beautiful beach

If I could give this place more stars I would! we had the most incredible stay here, the staff were incredible, they were very accomodating and helpful and really made this a highlight of our trip. We stayed in the pool front rooms, the rooms themselves were spacious and clean, the beds were comfortable and the bath was amazing even at the end of a hot day. The products provided in the showers were so amazing we even bought some to take home. We got the in house massages to the sound of the ocean, for both my boyfriend and I they were one of the best we have ever had. The food was also consistently delicious, we tried most of the menu and couldn’t fault it! To top it all off the beach in front of the property was beautiful and very quiet, couldn’t recommend more.

A beautiful place with a wonderful sea view

The room is good, and has a wonderful view of beautiful sea. You can also see a majestic sunrise from your terrace. The food is good and the owners and staff are really nice and helpful. The breakfast is very good and served professionally. We also ordered food for dinner and it was good!! Next time, we should book another room near the cost, where the view is even better!

Exceptional

We had a great time at Aquaterrace Amed, it was a truly a 5* star hotel experience. The place has an amazing balcony with a “ balcony couch” and and a beautiful view of the sea. We enjoyed having breakfasts there. Breakfast was also very tasty- fresh juice, coffee/tea, fruit bowl with yoghurt and granola and a choice of main meal. We loved having mini bar, which was very affordable - saved us some time of going to the shop for drinks. You also have a direct access to the beach downstairs, which is surprisingly good for snorkeling! The staff is very friendly and happy to help if you need anything. We also had a great scrub and massage at the hotel. We would definitely stay there again!

We stayed at the ocean front room, the view was breathtaking. The room was clean, nice and cozy, the amenities was really nice. Had dinner and lunch at the resto, everything was delicious. Recommended !!
