No windows that open and no views but we didn’t need that anyways.

Love the room n huge toilet.
Not really dislike but do note the old heritage building does not have elevators. Guestrooms are up one floor.

Our stay was comfortable and the staff were really friendly and accommodating.
There was a lot of noise all through the night, particularly evident when someone was entering and exiting the premises as the door banged very loudly.

Noisy....on the Pacific Highway....should have realised when I saw they provide free ear plugs!!

Staff were good, room basic but comfortable, good aircon and shower, comfy bed. Considering it is on a main road the traffic noise was not too bad, meal on the fist night stay was really nice.
Dinner on the second night. I ordered a steak "very well done" which is an option when ordering, above "well done", I thought obviously designed for fussy eaters like me. The steak was served medium rare. I knew it was medium rare because I asked a staff member to look at it and tell me how he thought it was cooked. That was the answer he gave me. I got a refund, the staff wanted to do something for me to rectify the issue but I went and ate else where.

The most we liked was the design overall. Great and comfy bed, we sleeped well these nights. You have a lot of parking spaces here and a train station nearby, wherefrom you can reach the city center of Sydney. Historical reception and hall interior. We got two complementary drinks from the bar as we checked-in. Full height mirror.
The room was a bit small, not enough space for luggage or clothes. There was a strange smell of sewage in the room, but not all the time, perhaps after a rainy day.

Very convenient for my purposes. I will look out for nightcaps in future.
Very quiet considering my room was above a pub on a major road. The complementary drinks vouchers and discounted meals, although I unfortunately did not have time to use either, were much appreciated!
