Walls are paper thin and all the doors slam and creak. Felt like I was in a small room with other people in same house, children crying and people talking/opening and closing doors. You have to manually lock and unlock your door from both sides which feels like a fire hazard. It’s very loud and the doors need servicing. You have to return your room key to the front desk when you leave the hotel and then you get it when you return. Felt strange and a bit violating as a female solo traveller like you’re being monitored. The staff member was very unpleasant when I asked why, he just pointed to the sign and said “it’s hotel policy”. Was a bit strange when I came back late from drinks with friends. The bathroom is tiny and a bit gross with black tiles and harsh lighting, I couldn’t fit my knees between the toilet and the wall. No mirror in room except for small bathroom face one. It wasn’t cheap enough to justify. Old art and creepy vibe.
