The property (Routi - 2bd, 2 bathroom) was fantastic accommodation! Quiet rural setting, big open cottage with lots of light, 2 beautiful new bathrooms, superb showers, large bedrooms, comfy beds, big TV with a number of available channels, glimpse of ocean and a well-equipped kitchen (BBQ also available). Great balcony for breakie/lunch/dinner. Easy driving distance to everything. So lucky to have available for dates required. All staff/hosts lovely and helpful (including communication). Made for a most excellent stay on Norfolk Island.
The windy/showery weather for the last 3 days - can't change that - but still had a great time and kept busy as so much to do on NI. Accommodation great for all weather, so really the accommodation was a winner! The biggest con will be if this accommodation is not available for when I want to book next trip!

Beautiful location superb views
Excellent kept grounds
Raewyn was very helpful and offered to relocate me closer to town but at my own expense however she did take me to the airport for which I was very grateful and gave me a brief drive to Kingston and to the lavender farm where she paid for a superb lunch on the Sunday my first day on the island
Was quite a way from the town don’t recall the distance being mentioned when I booked
My booking said a car and insurance was provided this was not the case apparently this was from previous advert so I was left without transport
The screen door was broken and only opened with great difficulty and did not lock nor did the glass door which I found uncomfortable and disrupted my sleep pattern
the islanders may be use to this but when you come from a place where all doors are locked at all times thus was very disconcerting and especially for a solo traveller
Cockroaches and spiders were in evidence throughout my stay killed two cockroaches every evening while watching TV
This was not pleasant and there were no sprays or baits available
