First, the location is basically perfect. Everything in Duhnen is within walking distance, access to the beach and cycle paths is on the other side of the street, and the road to Cuxhaven is around the corner. Large free parking space. Large breakfast room and good breakfast. Friendly staff. Nice-looking older house. Coffee and tee in the rooms.

I stayed in a smaller room on the top floor, under the slanting roof. Being tall I bumped my head a few times. I haven't seen an elevator, which may be a problem for people with reduced mobility. The bathroom was clean and functional, but it felt of a lower standard than the room. And that's all I can think of really.

We loved the room and the friendly staff. The location was amazingly near the beach and also shopping areas. Breakfast was the highlight . Ample towels and room cleaning was done though out our stay. Great value for money.
