The room and breakfast were very nice. We arrived late and left after breakfast so didn't get to see the town. As we had rented a car with Sixt, and apparently, they are not open on Sunday as their website had stated, the car info and key was at the hotel counter. Very convenient!
This is not on the hotel at all, but just advice for future travelers. We had assumed there would be taxis at the ferry. There were not and we were without wifi. There was a QR code to access a taxi but we couldn't hear each other. Thankfully the taxi driver could make out we were at the ferry and found us. Arrange your travel prior to arrival.

I loved the location. The town was the best part of our visit to France. The staff was friendly by American standards (extremely friendly by French standards).
The room could have been a little cleaner. There was a huge stain on the carpet that a quick shampoo would have taken care of. I celebrated my 57th birthday and our 35th anniversary during this trip. I think the towels in the room did too. The site said there was parking but it was full so we had to park nearby (not really too big of an inconvenience though). Last thing, on the first morning we had breakfast my wife had a dirty glass on the table so she didn’t use it. The next morning we sat at the same table and the glass was still there, and still dirty.
