This is an exceptional hotel and although it is not the most beautiful from the outside it really surprises when you walk through the fronf door. It is a beautiful old building which has been lovingly returned to use. Our room was off the amazing inner courtyard and at the rear of thd building overlooking the small swimming pool. The room was very spacious with lovely high ceilings and the bathroom was a really good size with an overbath shower. Thankfully the bath was easy to get in to not being terribly high!
The recptionist who welcomed us was very helpful and friendly and provided us with an excellent map of the city and explained how to get to the old town and also the beach. Both very accessible on foot from the hotel.
We had an excellent night's sleep in a very comfortable big bed and had a very good quality buffet breakfast in the morning before we left.
The hotel has a decent area for parking in front of it which is free which was a bonus.
There are lots of places to eat very close by.
I really couldn't fault the hotel and the only thing I didn't like was that we were only there for one night as it would be a lovely base from which to explore the surrounding area.
