The Chamonix Lodge is a great hostel about 15 minutes away from the coach terminal. The rooms are great, as there is enough space to chuck our bags and gear and the beds were also super comfy. It was a bonus that we had a balcony looking out in the valley and mountains. The toilet and kitchen facilities were super clean and well stocked and the free breakfast is great if you want save some money and/or your getting up very early for an adventure. As I mentioned it is around a 15 minutes to the coach terminal and around a 15 minute walk to all the shops on the main strip and about a 30 minutes walk to the Montevers train station, basically the location is excellent. All in all an amazing place to stay if your looking a base of operations when going on your alpine adventures.
