The building has a cheesy castle look which is all a bit dated but the guest rooms have been recently renovated and are contemporary and very comfortable . The property’s private beach is right across the small road
I think there must have been staff shortages or sickness but there was no receptionist during our stay which was frustrating at times

I absolutely loved my five-night stay at Hotel Castle! The staff were so lovely and always happy to help, especially with organising taxis when I needed them. Breakfast was delicious every morning, and I loved that they remembered what I liked to have each day. Such a thoughtful little touch!
My room was beautiful, with a balcony overlooking the sea and even a bathtub in the main room with sea views! It was such a lovely place to relax. The location was fantastic too. I really couldn’t have asked for a better stay!
Nothing, everything was wonderful!

Loved the location, access to sun beds straight down from the hotel (across the road to the beach). Hotel room size was great, clean and staff service excellent. AC worked well. Bed / Pillows comfy.
Very minor couple of things. Not worth mentioning as when requested to fix the staff fixed it same day.

The hotel is clean and they are nice. The gym is open to all of the town. There are no wipes or anything to clean and wipe down equipment and its visited by a lot of body builders. That being said it is sufficient to work out and do what you need. The terrible part is I called for a taxi Friday am and they said 10-20 min. It was ONE HOUR and basically 3x time the price anticipated. This is not their fault but they're English is not great so hard to understand and communicate expectations. The breakfast is good.
The gym hours were 9-11. Who wants to workout at 9 am. At least open at 7... Communication could be better.
