The pool was excellent, the room absolutely delightfully quirky - keeping in mind this business is run from a beautiful 1500's historical building with exposed beams and thick stone walls. The sheets and towels brilliantly white and the bed so cosy. Ample choice for breakfast which was deliciously tasty. Lovely staff. Thank you very much for all of it Seven Stars. from 12th October, Room 7

In an excellent town centre location, the Seven Stars offers all you need for a Hay getaway. Rooms and beds are comfortable, with tea & coffee facilities. Guests also have free use of the swimming pool, which is an added bonus! Breakfast was also delicious and Captain the dog is around to make sure everything goes smoothly!

Great location in the centre of Hay-On-Wye. Free parking for guests. Friendly staff who were exceptionally helpful and made sure we had all the instructions we needed for a late check-in. A tasty breakfast with Captain the dog!

Breakfast was ok

Small room, noisy, uncomfortable bed, awful shower. False advertising - the picture advertising is a completely different building - Hay castle, not the Seven Stars.
