Traditional in a great location
Lovely breakfast selection and nice meals in the restaurant in the evening.
Nothing too much trouble for the staff. All very friendly and spoke excellent English.

First, the good. This is a great location, on the river and right next to departure point for ferries to the beach. Breakfast is a plentiful buffet with friendly staff. Beds are comfortable. Everything is clean. We were allowed to stow our bags despite arriving in the morning.
When we returned at 3pm our room was still not ready. Management/owner was totally non plussed by this. Maybe end of season attitude, but we felt all the front desk staff and cleaners were extremely grumpy and we don’t think the guesthouse was at all full. I’m afraid it coloured the whole stay.
