Reception/bar area, grounds and staff. Rooms big, comfy -we had a small enclosed patio.
Room a bit tired, could do with a spruce up. Carpet needed renewing.

Property was a good location
Rooms very dated, pillows flat, limited plug sockets, 1 had an extension in and every socket was full with lamp, tv, kettle and then one other socket in the corner of the room to charge our phones, iPad etc

Location was great and generally quiet
Check in was fine but when I got to the room someone was already in there
Poor show but did find another room and I noticed more people had issues
Some staff sounded like they had Covid or flu but didn’t stop them serving in the restaurant with out a mask
Food is limited and average

Room was large and bed very comfortable
We were only told day before our arrival and only because I confirmed booking, that our dog was not allowed in restaurant if breakfast room so they would not be able to accommodate us for meals. The hotel kept telling me I had already been told this at booking but I had not. If you are after a dog friendly hotel, this is not it.
