location is isolated. the property needs to fit drain covers or water closets as the rooms smell of the sewers

Beautiful views, friendly staff, amazing pool.

The staff were super friendly and helpful. The aircon in our orginal room was not working too well so they upgraded us for free. The view from both the rooms and the pool were amazing and it was a very quiet peaceful area to stay in. The staff helped us book a taxi as well as a boat trip, they even gave us plasters and things to clean a wound after my friend cut her foot at the beach. Their passion fruit mojitos were amazing!

The food was just okay and a little overpriced for the quality of it.

It's in the details. There is no soap at the washbasin, you need to take it in the shower. No batteries in the safe, only works with the key

Family atmosphere, great views from room & restaurant (with swimming pool) on pier. Good breakfast - nicely balanced for everyone. Quit. Positive equation price/value. Absolutely recommend.

Restaurant opening hours could be extended .. some ventilation/plumbing work in bathroom could be anticipated

Fantastic, beautiful, amazing

The best pool with the best view in the whole of Koh Chang. The staff are amazingly friendly and go above and beyond to ensure your holiday is enjoyable. The resort is very relaxing and perfect for couples who want a piece of paradise. The evenings are very quiet but it's only a short taxi journey should you want some night life. After which you can return and truly relax with just the noise of the waves gently lapping on the beach. Food is very good with a selection of western dishes as well as many exciting Thai choices. But ultimately The Bhuvarin resort is made special by the team that works there. They really have got it right. I can't describe exactly what I mean but there's no mistaking their true wish to give you a holiday from everyday life. I know they are 'doing their job' but the smiles and wishes are real. In summary if you want a beautiful piece of paradise with close options for more active pursuit then The Bhuvarin resort is the perfect place to stay. Already dreaming about our return in 2025.

We honestly can't find any dislikes ourselves. It's very isolated but for us that's perfect. Plus there's a free shuttle to the local busy areas eliminating that should it be an issue for you.

Nice peaceful location with lovely views. Pool was nice.

This is a personal experience and may have been a one-off incident but as a responsible dog owner I feel potential guests with dogs should be warned. The resort is advertised as pet friendly and they do allow pets to be around the resort which is great. However, the resort owners have a large dog that is allowed to roam around free, which in itself is fine but he was aggressive towards my dog with no provocation and attacked my dog without warning when my dog was just walking with me on a lead. This soured the whole stay and put me on edge the rest of the time as I had to constantly look out for the dog whenever we left the room.

The resort is quite far away from the island center. If you would like to explore around, you have to commute quite long distance.

Great pool with a nice view. Room is new and modern.

There were a few dead bugs in the toilet and under the bed.
