We stayed in top floor apartment with a balcony across livingroom and bedroom. Stunning view across the lake, very comfortable apartment and a great location overall.
In our opinion, staying up the hill was well worth it for the view and more space and quality compared to anything on the lake level. It takes about 10-15min to drive up or down along narrow twisty roads. For good drivers the road is not a problem, even exciting. For less confident - pick a smaller car.
The house is located in a charming little village with just a few houses and a church. Very welcoming. The host is very friendly and helpful, our stay was completely worry-free.
The apartment is bright, clean, super comfortable. There is even a working fireplace inside! Magnificent views! Yes, there are a few steps to reach the apartment, but it is not a problem for most. All the amenities inside: good shower, coffee maker, fully equipped kitchen. There is very efficient heating, important in shoulder months. Free public parking in front of the house - small, but wasn't short of space.
Lots of hikes and routes around the house. Adventurous people will find it particularly suitable.
Overall: fabulous place, worth every penny.

Hôte et sa famille à l'écoute et très serviables. Avons apprécié sa gestion de notre mésaventure lorsque nous avons du composer le 112 suite à notre perdition dans la forêt, sur le chemin pourtant balisé, censé nous mener jusqu'au Tempietto di San Fedelino au départ du village de Dascio. Au final, nous déconseillons vivement cette ballade.
Appartement confortable et propre. Calme absolu dans le hameau perché à 644m. Et waouh la super vue sur le lac !
La route d'accès au gîte est sinueuse et très étroite, il faut être prudent mais au bout de quelques montées et descentes on arrive à maîtriser, en usant du klaxon comme notre hôte nous l'a conseillé...
Il y a 2 escaliers d'accès au gîte, le premier assez raide, avec les bagages c'est un peu hard.
A notre goût, il manquait un grille pain dans la cuisine.
