Spend quiet mornings on the patio with a cup of warm coffee as you take a deep breath of salty air. You can even bring the dog along, as it will love evening walks on the sand too! Take a break from the beach and cool off in the shared pool to escape the heat and head back to home base to prepare a delicious meal in the full kitchen or out on the private gas grill! Plus, there is no need to worry about sandy suits, as a washer and dryer are available in the home for your convenience! This Holmes Beach hideaway is two blocks from the general waters of the Gulf of Mexico where you can simply lounge on the sand, walk along the coast, or snorkel along the local reefs! A free trolley stop is also nearby, so hop on and explore the entirety of the island with ease. If you don't feel like cooking, there are plenty of delicious local restaurants serving up unforgettable seafood and barbeque that you won't want to miss. Plus, Bradenton is a short drive inland if you want to explore the city! Things to know: All guests occupying this property who are under the age of 25 must be accompanied by a parent or legal guardian. Heated pools may not be available if temperatures drop below 65 degrees. We will not be accepting payments for pool heat for the months of May through October. This property has a 7-night stay requirement. However, select properties have the flexibility for shorter stays. Let us do the searching for you! Vacasa management didn’t escalate this emergency until 5 days after reporting no hot water. The cottage is adorable but Vacasa management company is terrible

Two beds, two baths and just a half block from the un-crowded area of the beach. It was very clean upon arrival. Beds were comfy.
This condo is in a small complex with just 3 other units and we usually had the pool to ourselves. A short walk away was a strip mall with Walgreens, other shops and several restaurants. There was one minor service issue and the Vacasa phone rep handled it quickly.
I would definitely return. On my wish list for a return visit would be to have the couch replaced with one that is comfortable, and beach chairs to use.

Group of four cottages surrounding a nice pool, walkways and fencing providing lots of privacy. A very nice place, clean, all the expected amenities, and the beach one minute away. Great location, uncrowded ocean access, we will be coming back.

We loved this cottage, it was perfect for the three of us and two furry family members. The walk to the beach was literally 2 minutes and this beach doesn't have a parking lot so it wasn't crowded at all. Everything you would need is in walking or bike riding distance. Groceries, dollar store, drug store, NY bagels, ice cream, I can go on and on. The restaurants that were suggested were a short car ride away, no more than 20 minutes!
The only issue we had was that the kitchen didn't have enough silverware. A quick trip to the dollar store fixed that so you may want to be proactive when doing your shopping for the week.

While we usually stay somewhere with an ocean view, this was a relaxing cottage within a couple of minutes to the sand.
Very bright and clean. Access to the pool was great. I would suggest having a crockpot in the cottage, it makes dinner so easy, especially with no restaurants close enough to walk to.

The location was great with great access to the beach and a local strip mall. Most things worked in the house worked except a couple of the ceiling fans. The information binder that was there was mostly rules and hardly any instructions on how to use things. The description said that pool could be used but the pool area was dirty and full of leaves. The pool cleaner did service the pool on day two and the yard maintenance people came by about halfway through the week and cleaned up the pool area. The biggest issue we had was getting into the pool area through the locked gate. There were no instructions given on how to get in other than “push the bypass button” which we never could find. When we called Vacasa they said we need a key to get in but we don’t have a key, only the owner has the key. When I told her that the information we got on the website and in the binder said we could use the pool she said that information is outdated. Then when I told her that the welcome email we got said to push the bypass button on some alarms she said “oh yeah, there may be an alarm around there”. But she had no idea where. She said she would reach out to a maintenance man but said she couldn’t reach him. A nice young man did call us several hours later but by then it was too late. Just seems like Vacasa doesn’t know anything about their properties. We actually got a call from the same young lady at Vacasa after we checked out to see if we “got the pool working”. Won’t use Vacasa again.

This was our second stay here at the complex we love to because it’s only 4 units. We had all four with our friends. Not all are with Vacasa. If you can swing it, you won’t be disappointed. The pool area became our meeting area and we had a blast. It’s a short walk to the beach and stores. Like most vacation rentals, there is a kitchen with pots and pans. Be sure to bring your spices etc if you plan to cook. My one and only complaint is the knife situation. I’m bringing a sharpener a next time lol! I highly recommend this place!

Great Spot!
Very clean, well-stocked. Love the private patio with grill. Pool are was nice, but could use a few more chairs in the sun. A short walk to the beach and the trolley stop. Within a 1/2 mile of a shopping center that contains a Publix and liqior store.

Love the place except the beds
We stayed last year in Unit #2 and loved the location and the property so this year when unit #3 came available, jumped on it. We loved the layout and decor. The unit has everything you need. I even used the grill one night. There was an issue with the laundry door but a call to Vacasa and all was fixed the next day. The only real issue we had was the extremely hard beds. It was so bad my wife had to sleep on the couch. It takes a lot for us to complain about things so the bed was a big deal. We would definitely go back if they would change the mattess.
