The updated Sand Castle features a brand new kitchen, comfortable beds, luxurious linens and an Island style relaxing decor throughout! It is a two bedroom, one bath unit that sleeps up to six with a king bed, two twins and sleeper sofa. MI Happy Place Island Resort includes a fabulous full size heated pool with a spacious 30 x 40 foot pool deck and a covered grilling area with a gas grill. It's a perfect spot to gather in the evenings after a lazy day at the beach. Every unit offers a variety of beach amenities as well – chairs, wagon, umbrella, and more. The resort amenities will make your Anna Maria Island vacation relaxing and enjoyable for a quick trip or an extended stay. The lush, beautifully landscaped resort oasis is ideally located close to the beach, and nearby eateries, and shopping. This was our second time staying at this property, we choose this place for location and yard for our basset hounds. MI Happy Place has always been very clean, great amenities and quiet dead end street. We were not really planning on AMI this fall but when the great rates showed up in an email.... I booked! We love AMI and this property has stayed reasonably priced unlike some other areas on the island. We will return & recommend this property!

Sand Castle at Mi Happy Place was in such a great location. We could walk across the street to the beach, walk to supermarket, restaurants. Very comfortable space. Communication with Island Vacation properties was great. (Via texts) I hope to return next year. Thanks for the great memories. Only negative is - Sitting outside is a bit loud due to traffic.

We had a great time. The location of this property is perfect. We could walk across the street to the beach and it had all the gears needed for a beach day. Walking distance to restaurants and bars. The pool was always nice and clean. Coming back for sure!

The patio duplex was very comfortable with up-to-date furnishings and well cleaned. We thoroughly enjoyed the location across the road from Manatee Public Beach with all its amenities.
The only problem was the bad connection with Spectrum for TV and WI FI. We did not receive reception for 2 days during our stay. We were here to relax which includes using these services during cool weather. I believe the management should compensate us for lack of these services as they did not keep their part of the agreement. If I would have not kept my part of the agreement management would have charged me.

We ended up loving the location. It was located on a street where there was no through traffic. The condos across from us were lovely and beautifully landscaped. It was a great neighborhood for walking and biking. Our pool was great although not always as clean as possible. Being in Unit I we caught more road noise especially as there was an unnecessary gap in the landscaping. There is safer, convenient access to the cafe on the beach just a short way off site so that gap is not needed. Our deck was also smaller than the other units. But I loved the kitchen and the master bedroom. The bed was very comfortable. We would rent there again if we could get a unit other than #1. The units are very quiet. You get no noise from your adjoining neighbor.

Rented a cute 2 BR cottage that has a beach theme and recently updated. Would have been better with 2 bath instead of 1. Busy street next to cottage although trees did buffer some noise. Needed to walk down to stop lights to cross street to beach. Very clean unit. Renting unit in 2021.

The linens were fresh and clean, and the king sized bed was one of the most comfortable beds I've ever slept on. It was too chilly to use the pool, but we noticed that it was spotless and with chairs and a BBQ grill available. Thank you for the excellent experience. We already booked for next year. The location was perfect. Everything was clean and stocked with everything we could need. Walking distance to beach and dining. Only issue we had was ants. Not too big a deal I assumed it was Sue to all the rain and the last night sewage backed up in the toilet and tub. The smell was so bad we had to leave and get a hotel. Would have liked to have a credit for the trouble but other than that it was a great rental.

We LOVED our stay! So close to the beach, only a 2 minute walk. The unit had towels and everything you could need - chairs, wagon for the kids, toys etc! Our toddler loved the pool close by. Check in was easy and we loved having a code rather than a key.

Very nice stay.
Love the property; very clean and suited us perfectly. Some noise from the traffic, but to be expected from so many people staying on the island. Can't really hear on the inside of the building. Just sitting outside.

The property and location were great, proximity to the beach was in walking distance and that was an awesome experience. I highly recommend this property if someone wants to have a quick vacation to relax in a hamper or pool, watch the sunset and enjoy the white sands of the beach. Lovely.

What an exceptional property. Everything was clean and very comfortable. We had to use the sleeper sofa. This has to be the best mattress on a sofa bed we have ever used. Everything is top quality from the sheets and towels to the furniture. Thank you for a memorable Memorial Day weekend.
