The room was big, clean, bathroom large and modern.Free parking, great location, decent breakfast.The owner was very helpful with tips for our next leg of the trip.

There is no air conditioning, as we knew in advance. Our room was facing the stream which is right under the hotel windows, and a busy street. We could not keep the windows open for the night due to noise on a very hot evening, and had to settle for the provided ventilator.

The location is really great, directly opposite the old town and the train station is also about 10 minutes walk away. The staff is very courteous and polite. We slept well, so the beds must be good. The bathroom is very bright and very clean.

Our room was on the river side, which makes for a great view, but it's super noisy with the windows open (that's obvious, but you have to know). We had the window open because it was quite warm in the room despite the heating being off. Basically, I would say that the condition is good, but now would be the right time to completely renovate (Except for the bathroom - that's great). The prices are very high, typical for Switzerland.
