I cant to recommend this property, and I do not understand its high rating given what we experienced.

Rating end photos

We booked a week at this villa for 7 days based on its excellent reviews. On arrival, we found a very large number of wasps around the house, which made it impossible to use the outdoor areas. The windows could not be opened either, which was a serious limitation in July with temperatures around 32°C and no air conditioning. We also found that one of the two beds was broken. During the first night, we noticed that wasps were entering the house through the fireplace chimney vent, and we were badly bitten. My son was afraid to leave the house, even to get into the car. At the end of the first day, we decided that it was unsafe to stay and informed the host. We spent a second night and left early the next morning. The host apologized for not warning us and for not treating the house, agreed to our departure, and said she would do everything possible to arrange a refund. The next day, Booking.com replied that the property owner was against a refund. I submitted a second request supported by the host’s own messages acknowledging that the interruption of our stay was her responsibility. Booking.com did not respond to it. For several months since, both the host and Booking.com have stopped responding. Behind the friendly and understanding tone of the host, there was in practice complete indifference to the problems of her guests: the promises made to us were not kept. We travelled 400 km for this stay, and our paid week was cut short for safety reasons. In total, including the accommodation (€590.62) and travel, we spent about €1,000 on a holiday that did not take place.

A little nest in the mountains to rest. Tt’s a very authentic place and the view from the living room is wonderful.

Hidden Gem

Hidden gem away from noise, cars, pollution and chaos. We chose this place to find peace and relax and we found it. The fireplace was the highlight of our stay as we loved to chill next to the fireplace. The view over the mountains is amazing and the house is very well equipped for those who want to cook or make a barbecue. The beds were very comfortable and we slept deeply and peacefully.

Consigliatissimo.
