Locanda Le Piazze

Beautiful setting, so quiet and peaceful, made it a very relaxing stay. Staff were amazing! So friendly and helpful, they made us feel very welcome. We were celebrating a special occasion and they made some very kind gestures. Room was lovely - very clean and a great size. The hotel’s restaurant was fantastic, delicious food and breakfast great too. Workshops organised by hotel were a very nice touch.

As the setting is very rural, the restaurant being closed some nights is a little inconvenient. Compared to other hotels of similar nature, it felt as though there was more to pay for once you arrived here (use of jacuzzi, mini fridge in room, etc.)

We had an amazing stay here. The location and views are breathtaking, and such a quiet spot you can really switch off. The rooms are large and even have a terrace to sunbathe privately as well as big bathroom. The pillows were both hard and soft so you could choose which one suited you and the beds comfortable. The pool area is idyllic overlooking the Tuscan hills. The breakfast had plenty of options (cooked egg, bacon and sausage, continental with pastries as well as fruit and yoghurt etc). The hotel also has a sister hotel called Belvedereone where we went for wine tasting which was also a great experience. Staff are really friendly and the environment is peaceful - there’s even an honesty bar by the pool as they trust the guests to take coffee / drinks and pay later. I just loved everything about this hotel and would definitely come back again.

The only thing that could have been better (trying to think of something…) is more options at breakfast eg if you could have asked for fried or poached eggs instead of the scrambled that was on offer. But we never actually asked for this so they might have been able to do it. One other thing is the gym is quite small and the pool is not heated.

Our stay at Locanda was one of our favorite stays of our whole trip. The service was amazing, the hotel beautiful. The staff went above and beyond for anything needed. The food at both breakfast and dinner was excellent. We can’t recommended this hotel enough.
