great location to discover Madrid

Lily at the desk when we arrived was wonderful in guiding us and helping us discover Madrid ..... it was her cheerful disposition & friendliness that made for a great stay

Great location, overall good experience.

The location is excellent. The room was quite big, the bed very comfy and the airco worked well.

The shower corner was leaking and they could do a better job in cleaning and maintaining bathroom.

Good location

The location is excellent, can walk to many main attractions. My room 507 is large and clean.

The room only has one garbage basket in the bathroom, it should have one in the room too. The bathroom and shower are too small. There is not much spaces to put the toiletries.

Lokalita vše dostupné a nablízku ( památky, centrum- restaurace vybavení.

Parkování s nízkými stropy - vždy jsme museli sundavat box za auta. Snídaně vedle v budově.

Establiment senzill sense zones comunes. Molt net Molt ben situat

Hem edat en un 4art pis que donava al carrer. habitacio amplia molt bones vistes al carrer Atocha. Bona Calefaccio Ben aïllat del soroll del carrer Molt bona Localització de l’hostal. Transport públic molt a prop.

Es sentíem els veïns, per sort era poca estona

L’emplacement était vraiment bien. La literie excellente. La propreté de la chambre faite tous les jours est super.

Madrid é uma ótima cidade, só se programem, pois o comércio só funciona após as 10 da manhã.

Cidade maravilhosa, o hotel centralizado, café da manha bom, próximo a tudo.

No check-in não fomos informados sobre o cartão para liberar o elevador, não te ajudam com as malas, é preciso subir alguns degraus com malas para chegar ao elevador, a recepção fica no segundo andar, tudo precisamos descobrir sozinhos, não há informações.

Good choice for 1-night stay in the very center of Madrid but nothing more

The location is perfect. Breakfast was good enough. The room was fine too, although it was not clean (lots of hair and also dust in some places)

The staff was not helpful at all to be honest, as we arrived (and also left) in the middle of the night. But I was still expecting some kind of a better approach.

There could have been a mirror in the room .it would be difficult for a family to use the bathroom mirror everytime to get ready,when someone is using the bathroom.

Location is good. Bathroom is quite nice. Staff is nice as well.

Paid for late check out (EUR 35) but latest checkout is only at 2pm. The bed made so much noise each time someone moved slightly. We were given a room that has a tiny tiny window, it felt quite suffocating. It was not like the pictures. Considering similarly priced hotels, I am not sure I'd return.

Extremely comfortable stay with everything you need at a great price.

It simply has everything that you need at a really good price. So everything is basic but everything is good and everything is there - clean linen, towels, shower gel, good shower with plenty of space, comfortable bed, tv with netflix and prime, fridge to keep a beer or two cold, good air conditioning that kept the room at a great temperature even though Madrid was 98F / 37C the day we stayed. Last time in Madrid I stayed in a similarly priced but more budget hostal. The room was tiny, no air conditioning, limited reception hours, shared bathroom. So a pretty uncomfortable stay. I was amazed this time to find every little luxury that makes traveling comfortable available at such a good price.

Location is just perfect. Ideal for short stays, simple yet comfortable, quiet, clean and good value for money. Breakfast was great.

Impeccable location. Good breakfast. Warm hearted staff. Nice washing service. Just so good. Would definitely come back again next time.

The rooms were not soundproof but it’s understandable since it’s an old building. Just a little notice to those who care.
