The house was the perfect size and the perfect amenities (pool table, huge backyard deck, large dining table, etc.) for our group of 8. Area was fun for exploring local wineries, cute shops, and quaint towns. We’d love to return again some day!

We booked the main house plus three additional units for four nights to host a Thanksgiving celebration with extended family. The location was handy for those flying in for the event and offered us great options for day trips. The main house had plenty of space for cooking, eating, and hanging out together. The teens loved the pool table, and we all loved sitting in front of a cozy fire in the family room and catching up on family news.

We arrived and found the heating was not working. The thermostat registered 45 degrees. We attempted countless times to contact the Owner and contact Vrbo to contact the owner to no avail. Our stay is over and we have still to hear back from anyone. Vrbo was terrible to deal with considering we were on hold and passed around from “team to team” for 4 hours. It was winter outside and the house was inhabitable without heating. I would avoid booking this property due to the heating and unresponsive host. I would avoid Vrbo after dealing with their customer support.

It is a beautiful property. And the property manager was very quick with a response about any inquiries. We were able to get two other suites after we arrived which was very helpful. And after the first night we could not get the heat to turn on so they brought us space heaters right away. I would definitely stay there again.

We came for a bachelorette weekend and had a great time! The house is beautifully decorated and so interesting. So much space to spread out and relax. Great place for visiting vineyards and relaxing hikes. I would highly recommend this home for your stay!

When I rented this property I let the property Owner know that this will be for a bachelorette weekend. In the listing it does say that there are other rental properties on site but that the rental properties are not connected. This is simply not true. We are horrified to discover that the rental property shares a door and walls with the additional rental properties. The lock was on their side of the door and could unlock it and come into our space. Our rental included a deck but the other renters continued to complain when our party was outside or anywhere near their door. It created a lot of tension and unhappiness during our weekend. The kitchen was also in pretty rough shape. The house is beautifully decorated and very charming. It was just a big disappointment about the lack of transparency regarding the other rental properties.

This was a nice place for a group of 14 near to Harper’s Ferry. Everyone had a bed to sleep in and the common spaces were great for us all to spend time together in. The only problem we had is that the grill was out of propane and we couldn’t get ahold of the owner to get it refilled. We ended up cooking over the campfire which turned out fine. Some of the handles on the cabinets and the arms of some chairs were loose or broken - there’s a bit of shabbiness to the furniture in the common spaces that should be fixed.
