Location and size of the property and how it was tastefully decorated and the milk and cakes on arrival really made a difference
Nothing

What a hospitable host! We arrived to little cupcakes, an invite on the welcome letter to use the China if we so wished and a really well equipped kitchen and bathroom. The hosts have really gone the extra mile with special touches and the cottages really is very beautiful and well located. The rooms were cosy and the living room even had a range of books and games.
The only thing that could have improved the stay would have been coat hooks/ back of door hooks in the bathroom, bedrooms and downstairs. Otherwise it was a 5 star experience.

Quaint, cosy little cottage. Beautifully furnished. Free parking in front of the cottage. Brilliant location in main high street with food outlets and pubs close by. Host had left us milk and homemade cupcakes on our arrival.
Nothing!
