The location of the hotel was beautiful, very lush and tropical. The meals we ate at the restaurant were tasty. The room was spacious and clean. We appreciate having a safe in the room.
We visited the hotel over a holiday weekend. There seemed to be a shortage of staff at the reception desk, house keeping and restaurant wait staff. Not enough towels were provided. The public road leading to the hotel could use some major attention.

The location was nice with a great view of the surrounding mountains. Great breakfast.
The hotel needed some upgrades:
The room was very basic and the beds were hard as a rock. It was impossible to regulate the water temp in the shower. Dinner was regular with stale salad and basic dishes.

Amazing facilities, delicious daily hot breakfast, spectacular views. The service was wonderful and we loved the hot springs in the evening (and daytime). The coffees, wine and other adult beverages were very delicious and affordable
The beds were very hard but we made do. The pool and hot springs area would have been even better if there were lounge chairs nearby and a towel exchange (we used the same towels for showering, hard to get things dry in time). We also would have loved music playing in Spanish at the restaurant and hot springs as the same slow pop in English played for days.

Temperature from pools were not working…so cold!

The place is beautiful, I'll recommend the cabin with fireplace and private 🛁 for couples, the public thermals are super nice and relaxing
The attention from the personal was not quite good, they looks stressed and in a bad mud, the food was not tasty and is quite a busy place full of children running and yelling everywhere

I loved the variety of pools. The property is huge and it feels like you are in the middle of a jungle paradise. I booked a suite and the room was amazing. Loved the private thermal pool on the patio. Loved the skylight in the bathroom.
There was a fire place with no kindling or matches to start a fire. The hotel did not answer phone calls or respond to messages. I tried to book an additional day ahead of our trip, but I could never communicate with anyone.

The thermal pools
This was my 4th time here - the restaurant before was amazing - this time horrible - nothing on menu was available. The staff while pleasant were not to go out if their way. The food - before amazing - this time horrible.

The thermals and the servicing from the restaurant and the guys working there
They didn't have enough towels, and lasted more than 4h to give us towels, even though they have thermals. The gym was useless, almost no machine worked, and was untidy and dirty.

Unfortunately, our first attempt to make us customers of this hotel. The hotel is located 16 km from the crater of the Nevado del Ruiz Volcano. An orange alert was declared on March 28 due to an increase in the volcano's activity; preventive evictions are even being carried out, because, according to information from the Observatory, all areas within a 15km radius have little time to act in the event of a red alert, that is, an eruption; Despite informing the hotel more than a week in advance, that we were traveling with a small girl and the exposure was not justified, the hotel not only told us that an orange alert was practically nothing, but that they penalized us with the charge full of the two nights that we did not take. Additionally, we NEVER received an emergency or evacuation plan from the hotel, which would show us even an interest in the safety of the guests and even their collaborators.
Awful attention.
It is terrible that such a well-known hotel does not take the necessary actions to guarantee the safety of its guests and employees and, in the face of a possible natural disaster, does not allow its guests the protection that a rest period should have.
