Our lovely 4 bedroom, 2 bath is located In the quant village of Wauwatosa only minutes away from Milwaukee and an hour train ride or 1-1/2 hour drive to Chicago. The house is walking distance to nice restaurants and shops on North Avenue. A 10 minute drive to Downtown Milwaukee and Fiserv Forum (Bucks). American Family Field (Brewers), Milwaukee County Zoo, Marquette University and the beaches of Lake Michigan are all close by. Come stay at your home away from home.

We immediately fell in love with the neighborhood. Craftsman style bungalows scattered throughout the whole area and it is a wonderful family and dog walking area. We had gorgeous weather and neighbors were outside walking and visiting. Many dog walkers. The first floor of the home is comfortable, and the original wood floors, wood built-ins in the dining room and woodwork are craftsman beautiful. Our host was kind enough to deliver four outdoor chairs we utilized on the front porch as often as possible when we weren’t out, watching the World Cup on TV or walking the neighborhood.Four of us stayed here for 6 nights and used the kitchen quite a bit. We couldn’t find an air conditioning vent inside the large bedroom upstairs - one was outside the bedroom door in the hallway. So our summer nights were a bit toasty up there.A charming business district is easy walking distance with a wonderful coffee shop, pizza, some nice neighborhood bars and restaurants, most anything you could need. And more charming neighborhoods a short drive away.

Overall, plenty of space and great location to East Tosa. House was clean and contained the necessities. Would come back again. Also loved that the home was very pet friendly.

The home is in a good location, close to the highways, a 17 minute drive to the airport. It was difficult to cook due to poor lighting in kitchen. The fireplace in the living room is a tripping hazard. Beds were uncomfortable. Rooms upstairs need black out curtains as the sun comes up early. The towels were cheap and the bathmats were placed as rugs in the bedrooms. For the price we paid the stay was not ideal, but perhaps we had higher expectations.
