Donde quedar para ir a visitar el parc Akagera

La ubicación, en camino del parc Akagera Tienes un restaurante que pertenece al alojamiento dónde se puede comer parrillas y barato Puedes aparcar dentro del local

So lo tenia 2 enchufes y uno no funcionaba. Nada mas especial

Excellent, budget friendly place to spebd the eve of the safari...

Excellent service, kind and caring staff, especially Miss Petite. Good location and tasty food. Amazingly comfy beds and plenty of hot water in the shower. Great value for money, higly recommended.

Nothing apart from the wifi not reaching inside our room.

Superb

The place is on the main road, and near a bus stop with frequent buses, making it very accessible. Despite that, it is generally very quiet, unless there's music coming from the nearby pub (you can ask to tone it down) or market (you can't ask to tone it down, but should not happen during the night). There is a beautiful garden with flowers and fruit trees. Very personable staff. The manager/associate tried his best to make me feel welcomed and suggest activities i could do. Beside using it as starting point for Akagera park or waterfalls,, the place offers short tours in the nearby village, getting to know more of the local life. There's a women center 10 km away that sells artwork at good prices

Religious live music performance at the market that lasted a whole day.

Fantastic staff!

As in any place I stay, I value staff and their attitudes over the facilities. The facilities were basic but clean. The room was spacious with two full beds. The reception and management was very supportive, polite and accommodating.

Great rooms but eat elsewhere

Beautiful garden with lots of flowers, fenced yard with parking lot. Very nice and clean room equipped with spacy beds, mosquito net, table, clothes hangers and hot water. Very friendly staff speaking English and French, great manager Alex who also took us for a walk in the neighborhood. Typical breakfast, we got take away breakfast when leaving early for Akagera park. Good choice of drinks at the bar. We would stay again.

The food is overpriced (10.000 RWF per a local dish with fine salad), but ok-ish, depending what you are having, the food shall be rather ordered 1-2 hours in advance or better in the morning.

Friendly staff, nice quiet location next to main road. Love the garden with small seating areas. Good value for money for all the high priced options on or closer to Akagema park

Disappointing

Price Location, near to severel shops and businesses Nice garden

Stuff was obstrusive Dinner prices are way to high Kitchen was super unsanatary Only 1 powerplug in the room Bathroom was unusable. Only cold water even in the shower, no toilet seat, toilet didn't flush, no mirror, nothing to hang or put clothes or towels, very shady in general. No wifi

Nice stay.

Nice staff, clean room and good value for money. Quiet, so I had a good night sleep.

They didn't have a restaurant for coffee in the morning. If you don't have a car, not convenient unless you want to get a moto taxi.

A budget friendly accommodation close to Akagera National Park.

The property was so perfectly located with clear signposts and on the roadside that it was very easy to locate. The staff was amazing especially the receptionist and the rooms were so clean and had all I needed. Not so far from the park at only 28kms and that’s a perfect place for budget travelers.

Highly recommended

Short drive away from Akagera (South Gate). Lovely garden, the staff is the greatest asset as they are very nice, flexible and accommodating. The food is great: very fresh, abundant and delicious. Highly recommended - we liked it so much that we also stayed there on our way back from Akagera.

we had a really nice stay at Akagera Neighbors. the place is very nice, surrounded by a restaurant, a bar and a supermarket. the room was confortable and the staff really friendly and helpful. they even helped us get a bus to Kigali. I 100% recommend.

Exceptional Service, I felt at home.

The breakfast was always exceptional! Very fresh fruit every day and ready at the time requested. The staff is super friendly and always willing to go the extra mile to help guests feel at home.

The internet would go out every once in a while, but this was not the hotel's fault, the national grid is just not as consistent out in Kabarondo as it is in the more popular regions of Kigali.

We had a very pleasant stay

We had a very pleasant stay at Akagera neigbors. The welcome was very enthusiastic and the host did everything to make us feel at home. The next day we could have breakfast at our desired time (at 5.30 am) and the breakfast was neatly prepared. We really felt welcome and at home. Also the packed lunches were prepared with care. The whole team waved us goodbye at six. Akagera Neigbors is a good alternative for spending the night in one of the Park locations.

The only thing to take into account is, that you have to pay twice the full price for the parc entrance insted of the discoiunt if you stay in the parc, but this has nothing to do with Akagera Neighbours.

Good place to stay, if the water pressure issue is resolved

Quiet location and very close to the main road. Ample free parking location. Very friendly staff. Very good breakfast included. Dinner is made fresh everyday with natural products from the region. Meat (goat, chicken, rabbit) is also freshly slaughtered every morning on-site. Advice is to order meals ahead as food preparation will take up to 90 minutes. Comfortable beds and rooms have a small sitting area outside. Internet is fast but they sometimes run out of data and you have to ask for a data recharge. Several shops in vicinity where you can get food or drugstore items. Very good on-site fast food place for brochettes and potatoes.

Water pressure is too low during the whole day, so it’s really hard and uncomfortable to take a shower, especially if there are guests staying in the next room also wanting to take a shower.

Don't arrive in Akagera stressed by a long way from Kigali. Better stop in Neighbour hotel

From Kigali to Akagera national Park it is convenient to stop even for one night, in a quiet and welcoming place, immersed in a cultural and traditional Rwandan context, such as the Neighbor hotel in Kabarondo, a few tens of km from Akagera. And it is also true that the owner Mr. John Bosco is a courteous man of pleasant company. TO SAY THE TRUE HE HAS NOT KNOWED TO EXPLAIN TO ME WHY HE BRINGS THE NAME AND SURNAME OF A GREAT ITALIAN HISTORIC SAINT, anyway it's nice to feel the respect of your country. Spartan accommodation, but clean and safe, with secure indoor parking. The breakfast has nothing to envy to the 5 stars :)

The breakfast was ok. The location was nice for getting to Akagera park in 45 minutes.

Exceptional

The manager is adorable! We had a discussion around a couple of beers and it was really enjoyable. The food was really good and I couldn't even finish it as there were plenty 😂 Strongly recommend this place! If you are looking to connect with local community, do not hesitate, this is the place!!

An unforgettable eventful stay

The lodge is beautiful, especially the garden with lots of seats (also covered) and the staff is very friendly and helpful and it is clean! This lodge is absolutely inexpensive and highly recommended!
