Most of the staff we interacted with were pleasant, friendly and helpful all were a credit to the hotel

Very much a personal opinion, but if I stay in an hotel I really do like to feel that I'm ensconced in a warm, attractive and comfortable environment. Unfortunately for me this hotel resembles a factory or warehouse rather than a comfortable 4 star hotel. While the bed was very comfortable the rooms are compact and minimalist. There were no comfortable chairs., only two office like hard and uncomfortable chairs with a very small desk or table. The window was not one that could be opened so we were reliant on the hot or cold air system that was not silent in operation. There was a decent selection of coffee and tea in the room and bottles of fresh water. The corridors and public areas were designed with all of the services exposed (see photographs) The public areas were very noisy and on a Saturday evening very busy with too few seats available. However, I imagine this hotel will speak to young people who enjoy the contemporary design.
