About this house rental
Real Escapes Properties is proud to present one of our favorite properties – 1204 Demere Road! This 5 bedroom, 3 bath cottage is brand new construction with a spacious and airy floor plan. Better yet, it is pup friendly. And for a most exclusive feature – there is a private pool that can be heated for an additional charge in the fenced-in back yard! You will love the shiplap walls with just enough color added throughout the cottage to know you are in a special place. All of the appliances are brand new, including the wine cooler. The dining room table seats 4 comfortably, and there are additional seats at the island bar and next to the dining table. The living room features a large 55" TV, as well as brand new relaxing furniture. The Master Suite is on the main floor and features a king bed, large TV, en-suite with beautiful walk-in shower, and a master closet large enough to live in. There are two additional bedrooms on the main level, both with queen beds and TVs. Between the two bedrooms is a full bathroom with a tub/shower combination. Two additional bedrooms are located upstairs. The first bedroom has a set of twin beds and the other has a queen bed. Both bedrooms have their own flat screen TVs and ceiling fans. The upstairs full bath has a shower/tub. Your biggest decision might just be deciding whether to sit in the front porch rocking chairs as you ease on until twilight or to gather on the back porch that overlooks your own personal swimming pool that can be heated. There is plenty of room for family and friends. The comfortable beach décor will have you wanting to stay longer. This adorable cottage is close in proximity to King & Prince Beach & the Village! CHECK IN: 4:00 pm CHECK OUT: 10:00 am • Group gatherings and events at this property are limited to the number of occupants (12 persons). • A maximum of three (3) dogs are welcome (additional non-refundable deposit per pup) (No cats allowed). • .5 miles to the King and Prince Public Beach Access, 1 mile to the Pier and Village area • Only 4 vehicles are permitted at the property. No vehicles are allowed over the speed hump in the driveway, as that is another private driveway. No exceptions - NOT even for loading and unloading. Pool can be heated for and additional $450 Minimum age to rent is 25. This applies to all guests with the exception of multi-generational families. What to Expect in your Unit: • There are 6 TVs located in this property. • Linens (Bath towels and bed sheets) are provided along with a Starter Supply of Toilet Paper, Soap, Paper Towels and Trash Bags (Any additional supplies needed during tenancy will be the responsibility of the guest.) We had a great time in SSI. The house was perfect. We enjoyed the backyard, pool and solo fire pit. Great location to shops and restaurants. The driveway/parking area was a little difficult to navigate.

We booked this house for a week in late February/early March. My husband and I were unable to go due to a sick pet but but my sister in law was able to still go with a couple of friends. I was a little hesitant to rent the home based on several of the reviews that complained about the parking situation and nasty neighbor. Our party followed the parking guidelines and had no problems at all. The home was immaculately clean. We would not hesitate to rent this home again in the future.

I rented this property for my son and his family as an overflow house for our larger family who were staying in a bigger house 3 driveways away. All of us checked out the house and were envious of how great this house was. It was clean with a great layout and the closets were massive if you had to set up a crib. And there are tubs for bathing babies/kids which was fantastic compared to most rentals. The only ding would be the house sleeps 10 but the table only seats 4. Otherwise, I would highly recommend.

We came down to SSI for the first time to work for two weeks and needed a home that was nice and would allow two people to work. This home fit the bill. It is a beautiful new home with a pool and fenced in yard. The home was very well equipped and and clean. My only dings are the King sized bed should be replaced and the water pressure needs to be checked as it was weak at best. With those two items fixed we would rent this home again.

Watch Out For the Neighbor

This is a lovely house. It is unfortunate that the neighbor is a very nasty Man. So this home shares a driveway with the Home behind it. We were told up front about this and where we could park and not park. We had a very clear understanding of this. We were traveling with two vehicles and a small trailer with our golf cart on it. This information was given to the Property rental company and a conversation was had as to how we could park and where off location the trailer could be parked if we could not make it all fit on the pad. We were also traveling with two seniors 87 and 93 year old mothers and two others who are handicap. One of the handicap guest has a electric wheelchair we needed to unload. This meant that the ramp to facilitate this was out into the driveway by about 3 feet while loading and unloading. The process took no longer than 15 minutes. I explain all this to get to the nasty neighbor. Every morning at 7:00 am he on purpose was out with his blower standing under the windows on the driveway side of our house. Not his property to be blowing. He was doing it just to be annoying. When we were loading the electric wheelchair he called the police on us because we were blocking his driveway. The driveway was not blocked plus there is a ingress that is allowed. Once we started looking a post regarding previous stays and FB post regarding this man it became crystal clear that he wakes up everyday to make anyone who stays in this rental a living nightmare and has total intent to ruin their vacations. This time he infringed on the ADA Laws and he is going to get his due. On FB it has been dubbed the "one time house" because its a really nice house but you will only stay one time due to this neighbor. I feel compassion for the folks who own this property. You have a lovely home and it was perfect for our family with the exception of the very ugly man who lives behind the rental.

That owner refused us any access to the driveway, directly in front of our rental, even for quick unloading in a rain storm. When you have a house that sleeps 10+ ppl with only 2 parking spots there should be more Leniency in that area. That home owner called the rental company to complain several times within a matter of minutes which they in turn called us, therefore making it a stressful situation when we were checking in. There also wasn’t any soap in the bathrooms for showering and we ran out of toilet paper pretty quickly. Also, had a small problem with the hot water heater but thankfully that was quickly resolved.
