The only downside to my stay at Pala is that I wasn't there for longer! I stayed one night in the junior suite - it was very centrally located, the staff were fabulous and the check in/out process was all very straightforward. The room itself was gorgeous with beautiful tile work, double height ceiling and old fashioned door shutters to block out the sun while you slept and keep the room cool. When they were open the room was so bright, airy and the little balcony with chair and table was a perfect people watching spot. Overall the room was also very clean and the bed/pillows very comfortable. Lastly, for other solo female travellers reading, the area was pretty much always bustling so there was no problem walking back late at night etc! I definitely hope to come back for longer some day!

The room was spacious and comfortable. The location was excellent with lots of restaurants right at its doorstep!
The shower had a bit of issues keeping warm.
