Location is great, the kitchen with all the tools are also great, but overall it is too noisy

It was very noisy at the hotel. First the pumps from the jojo tanks were making such a noise that one could not sleep. Moving to another room it was so noisy, I could hear every word of the people staying in the room next to me.

A Joeys stay with pizzazz

Selected for its location with ease of access to Gautrain and Sandton City. It offered apartment style accommodation with lounge/kitchenette area, a generous bathroom with rain shower and an exceptionally comfortable kitchen bed. Pablo’s was excellent for breakfast, a drink or dinner whilst a bonus to have swimming pool. All staff, whether reception, restaurant or housekeeping were welcoming and helpful. I be would certainly stay here again.

A small “niggle” but hot water was a little spasmodic.

Good place to stay.

The location and facility were good. I didn't took breakfast in the hotel. Therefore i cannot rate it.

WC was compact and it was not satisfactory to use WC wash basen and sanitary. The self cattering kitchen was good but the pans to cook were in 4/10 condition.

A major disappointment compared to my previous stay.

I never ate breakfast because I did not have any Wifi for the whole stay and I checked out first thing in the morning to head to the airport early as I needed Wifi to work.

I saw that when the roof is cleaned, that same water gets drained into the pool, that has tables in it. That can’t be right.

The water being cold all time made for an unpleasant stay. But either than that, it was just okay really.

Very good location.

Cold water almost all the time , depending on time of day . Not sure what type of gyser system they have . But sometimes the water was really cold to shower . Only once in my 3days was I able to get a hot shower. Staff is too casual , not very formal in informing you what to expect in the room or services etc . You have to ask about everything . Didn’t really feel like a hotel , instead felt more B&B than anything (look and feel).

My staycation in the Mint hotel was absolutely incredible. I am definitely coming back soon.

I enjoyed every bit of my staycation. The atmosphere was amazing. I loved the dj and the pool.

It meet all my expectations. Loved the place

Loved everything about the place the staff n the whole set up

That people who came to the restaurant can also come to the pool area ... Felt somewhat uncomfortable coz if anything can get lost we won't be able to held them accountable coz they will be all gone the next thing. But beside all that i would still come back loved the place ❤️

Staff at the hotel were great. Never got to try the food but the coffee was amazing.

The setting is lovely with the pools and the staff are excellent. Room was clean and the kitchen has everything needed. Fantastic to get a 1.5L of sparkling water at the bar, wine and ice at reasonable prices.

Unable to block the bright outside pool lights out as the curtains didn't seal off the light properly. Aircon was too noisy to leave on. Opening the window meant the traffic was very loud. TV - wasn't able to get a channel to view. No alarm clock. No iron in the room No hotel information in the room about where the gym is or how to order room service etc. Yoghurt and granola took more than 15 minutes so had to leave without eating breakfast. Close to the Gautrain but taxi charged R100 to drive 700m as it was to0 dark and not safe to walk

I loved the set up of the rooms,very amazing and welcoming and it was very clean, house keeping was done every day during our stay..I loved the pablo restaurant and the pool side was just amazing😍

Loved the place overall, food is great and rooms are spacious and clean.

I like the outside facilities, the pool area with the bar. Its very relaxing and great atmosphere even though their service was a bit slow, as we had to keep calling our waiter.

The service at the pool area was very bad, and our drinks were served in plastic glasses which were dirty.

Was not aware that it is a party hotel.

Music was playing until all hours of the night and the walls were very thin. We had paid prior to arrival and also for breakfast. When we arrived they wanted payment again and said we had not paid for breakfast. THE WORST PART… after we dropped our luggage in a room that was 150m walk with all bags we went to the bar for a drink. When we returned someone had been in our locked room. Sunglasses had been moved, wall chargers were unplugged. A joint bud was in the bathroom. Our bathroom window which was closed was now open. And the scary part is that the joining room door that I had checked was locked when we arrived was now unlocked.

Not professional reception. Was asked to pay for payment that i already did.

The location nice, near of gautrai station and sandton mall.

The checkin at reception very unconvienent. There was a discussion about paying the room that i already paid in advance on internet. I was sure and even show to the receptionist the invoice but he insisted that was not paid. After long discussions and they checked again and again, they found the payment i already paid. I also the checkin done by internet after the payment was done before arrival. This was very unpleasant and not professional. Also, the breakfast not a buffet and limited by choice.

The room was giving a guest house vibe than a hotel

my child liked the pool side as well as Jacuzzi

I didnt like the state the room was at, the door is hard to open which resulted to the handle to broke, the sliding door had stains, on the walk way there is always leaking water that can cause slip and fall and injuries, they don’t have phones in the room when you call the reception they don’t answer one had to walk to the reception the entire stay. when I was booking the room said including breakfast but when we were there they said they only have limited amount they give you for breakfast the rest you will have to pay on top, yey it’s a lot shame

The friendly stuff, clean properly and the location is great.

Closing time of the jacuzzi is a bit early, we couldn’t get in especially that there were other people in already.

Sadly the most disappointing stay I have had in years, despite the good reviews.

Breakfast was a la carte which is a refreshing change. Location is very central and convenient. Easy to find. Spacious room and good self-catering kitchen facilities. Comfortable bed.

Sadly, my room do not match or reflect what is shown in the gallery images. I was "upgraded" to a "Superior" room (or so I was informed by the receptionist on duty) despite having actually booked such online. Finishes are cheap and the room I stayed in, Block D Room 137 was actually quite grubby with dirty walls, faded grouting in tiles, soap-scummed shower panes, loose fittings, broken bins in the kitchen and bathroom, blistering paint, laminate floors that have seen better days, a mop and bucket in the closet (?) and generally poor finishes and workmanship in the room. There is a lot of air-conditioner noise from directly outside the room and I lot of light streaming in at night due to ill-fitting curtains. Noise from the passageway is very disturbing at night. It is quite a distance to walk from Block D to the restaurant/reception area. Restaurant staff are decidedly low-energy and lethargic in attending to guests. I had to physically call someone over before I was given any attention. The breakfast advertised did not match what I was given although it was tasty and otherwise well prepared. Again the finishes look cheap and threadbare with tables wobbly, chairs uncomfortable and surfaces tacky to the touch. Everything looks poorly cleaned/maintained. Dirty windows and mirrors say everything about a place. After load-shedding the TV could not connect to WiFi and then also kept on requesting actions to be performed, rendering it unusable.

AMAZING TIME, FILLED WITH GOOD MEMORIES!

We went there for my mother’s birthday, and she had the best time ever! I loved everything about the hotel including the Pablo restaurant. We spent a lot of time by the pool area and also in the jacuzzi! Anyone who’s considering going there, should definitely go. We will be visiting again soon🥳
