About this apartment rental
Our spacious, bright vacation rental is located at the foot of the Johannisberg forest (605 m) in Freudenberg, which has plenty to offer hikers and cyclists.
The house is surrounded by a spacious property featuring a natural pond with a dock and a gushing waterfall—perfect for swimming in nature. The approximately 85 m² apartment features a living room with a south-facing balcony, a kitchen with a dining area, two bedrooms, a bathroom with a shower and bathtub, and a separate toilet. To make your stay as pleasant as possible, our vacation rental also includes the following amenities: coffee maker, electric kettle, toaster, dishwasher, ironing board, iron, clothes rack, hair dryer, TV, radio, umbrella, shopping basket, a small selection of reading material, and hiking maps of the region.
Free Wi-Fi and a garage are also available to you.
An extra bed can be provided upon request.
The picturesque village of Freudenberg offers a bakery and a butcher shop, as well as the multi-award-winning Märkl Brewery, the Dotzler restaurant, the staffed “Schmiealm” sheep hut, and a modern outdoor swimming pool. The Nordic Walking Sports Parc is also practically right on your doorstep.
Just 10 km away lies the 120-meter-high Monte Kaolino, the “white mountain” in Hirschau. A trip there is well worth it, as a thrilling summer toboggan run, sand skiing, a high ropes course, and mini-golf await you.
The historic city of Amberg is also just 10 km away. Thanks to the good connection to the A6, you can easily reach Regensburg and Nuremberg.
Our vacation rental accommodates up to 4 people; the ideal occupancy is 2 adults and 2 children. Price per night: 85€ plus a 50€ final cleaning fee.

Sehr geräumige gut ausgestattete Ferienwohnung mit sehr freundlichen Vermietern. Ein Aufenthalt, um sich richtig wohl zu fühlen.
Der idyllisch gelegener Teich zum ausspannen hinter dem Haus hat uns besonders gut gefallen und die hier verbrachten Stunden haben wir genossen.
Die Umgebung bietet alles für Wanderer, Radfahrer.

The property was immaculate and very comfortable. The pond was a beautiful place to sit and relax and enjoy the fresh air. Property manager was excellent to work with and I would highly recommend this location.

Diese Wohnung bietet alles was man sich wünscht. Die Vermieter sind supernett, die Wohnung ist prima. Die Umgebung ist super. Der Hofhund und die Hofkatzen freuen sich über jede Streicheleinheit. Die zwei Pferde, die zum Hof gehören, dürfen auch gestreichelt werden und freuen sich darüber. Wir haben uns dort sehr wohl gwefühlt und kommen sehr gerne wieder.

Auf dem Grundstück einer alten Hammermühle gelegen, mit kleinem Wasserfall, einem grösseren Weiher, einer Scheune mit zwei Pferden und einem kinderlieben Hund.
Die Familie Rogner ist sehr herzlich, dabei aber nicht aufdringlich. Die Wohnung in der ersten Etage ist sehr geräumig und frisch saniert. Es ist alles da, was man so braucht. Das Kinderzimmer und Wohnzimmer haben einen Balkon. Das Wohnzimmer mit halb abgetrennter Küche ist sehr geräumig. Es gibt einen schönen Blick auf die Scheune mit Wiese (wo die Pferde Auslauf haben) mit Apfel-/Walnussbaum und einem Skilifthäusschen und dem bewaldeten Berghang. Absolut verkehrsruhig gelegen, an einer Nebenstrasse/30er Zone, wo selbst tagsüber gefühlt 5 Autos vorbeifahren, abends so gut wie wie nicht. Die Kinder konnten sich frei bewegen und mit den Pferden (sehr zahm) und dem Hund frei über die Wiese tollen. Das ganze kann man entspannt vom Sessel aus bei Sonnenschein im Wohnzimmer oder vom Balkon aus beobachten. Mit dem Hund konnten die Kinder (12+7) alleine mit Leine durchs Dorf Gassi gehen. Hier gibt es einen Bäcker, Metzgerei, eine gute private Bierbrauerei mit Hausverksauf und einen Wirt.
Oma Rogner wohnt Hochpaterre und ist sehr nett. Herr Rogner hat im 2.ten OG ein Büro, ist aber nie zu sehen, so er da ist. Die Gegend kann direkt vom Haus aus bewandert, bemountainbiked, oder so Schnee liegt, direkt vom Haus aus mit Ski befahren werden. Der Monte Kaolino liegt 10 Autominuten entfernt.
Der grossen, jährlichen Fischentnahme aus dem Weiher konnten wir auf Einladung mit Kaffee und Brezn beiwohnen und war ein grosses Staunen für die Kinder. Am Wasserfall lässt sich im Sommer als Kind wohl endlos herrlich spielen.
