About this house rental
The cottage, rated 3 stars, is a family home completely renovated in 2020.
With a surface area of approximately 160 m2, it can comfortably accommodate 12 people (6 bedrooms, 3 bathrooms).
However, it can accommodate up to 14 people using the sofa bed in the living room.
The cottage is ideal for getting together with family or friends.
Ideally located, you can enjoy the calm of the countryside, while being close to the sea.
Pets are allowed.
The accommodation
In order to make you enjoy it as much as possible, you can benefit from the many facilities at your disposal (coffee maker, toaster, washing machine, dryer, equipped kitchen, TV, wifi...)
There is also equipment for babies and children (1 baby cot + possibility of having an extra travel cot on request, 1 high chair, 1 potty, toys, books, a slide).
You will be able to take full advantage of the garden, thanks to the sunbeds, garden furniture, barbecue, which will be at your disposal.
The cottage also has a fully enclosed gravelled courtyard.
You will also have a closed garage, where you can store your bikes or other equipment safely.
On the first floor, you will find:
- The main room consisting of a fully equipped open kitchen, living room and dining room.
- a bedroom with 1 double bed of 160x190
- a bathroom with walk-in shower, double sink, toilet and towel rail.
Upstairs:
- a master suite with 1 double bed of 160x190 + private bathroom with corner bath,
- a bedroom with 1 double bed 140x190 + wardrobe
- a bedroom with 1 single bed + 1 baby bed and changing table
- a bedroom with 2 single beds
- a bedroom with 2 single beds and wardrobe,
- a bathroom with a shower, a double sink + toilet.
The house is located approximately:
- 10 km from Portbail, where you will find beach, shops, market...
- 13 km from Barneville-Carteret
- 40 minutes from the D-Day landing beaches,
- 45 minutes from the Nez de Jobourg,
- 5 minutes from the forest of Saint Sauveur le Vicomte
The Channel Islands (Jersey and Guernsey) are accessible from the port of Carteret and Dielette.
